Just when we thought we’d had every kind of burger out there, this place completely raised the bar. Hands down, the best burger we’ve ever eaten, juicy, perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and packed with flavor in every bite. The bun held together beautifully, the toppings were fresh and balanced, and the whole thing was the kind of meal you don’t want to end.

The service was friendly and everything came out hot and fast.

Honestly, if you’re a burger lover, you need to try this spot it’s a game changer. We’ll definitely be back.

We were passing through Mobile looking for a place where we could bring our dog. Callaghan’s has outdoor seating and they welcome dogs. My wife and I had burgers which they are known for and the burgers were very good. The neighborhood is beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around after our meal. The bar inside is very cool. This place is definitely worth the trip and I highly recommend it.

Love this place. Lots of music… good stuff. JT can’t do any better. Phil and Foster(Stan) are the regular Wednesday night music, 7-10. If you haven’t heard them, you should. Did I mention the food is good too? Get there early.

Was looking for a good place to try a burger and I am glad I found this place.! The burger was delicious and a decent size. Although they don’t serve fries, the chips were super tasty too. It’s a small place but, definitely worth it. Great prices as well.

What an amazing place with so much of Mobiles Irish love! Fun place that has a lot of live music and fun filled events all year around. We had the burgers and Po’boys (blackened) with the artichoke and spinach dip to start (absolutely KILLER). They have indoor and outdoor seating with road side parking. Definitely a place you want to try if you are looking for some good mobile food.

Just absolutely WOW! Tonight was our first time and definitely will not be our last! This place was awesome and the atmosphere was pretty chill and fun to observe! A man was singing live, and the staff was very friendly! The food was worth the wait, which was rather quicker than expected being it was pretty packed on a Friday at 630pm. The burgers was juicy, thick and the most delicious burgers by far, compared to any other burger I’ve ever tasted! This place it in a neighborhood, but it was easy to located and definitely worth giving it a shot, you definitely Will Not regret checking it out! Loved it and will be back again!!!

Tried this place our first night in Mobile. Fantastic burgers and good service even with a completely full restuarant on a Wednesday night. Second time it was a lot less busy and the burgers were again fantastic. The Irish Dip is my next favorite behind the burgers.

Callaghan’s was recommended because I said to a couple that Briquettes has the best burger. I spoke with the bartender Cheryl who has been there for “it seems” since the 90s, she was friendly, attentive and ran the bar and floor all by her lonesome. You can tell she is a seasoned server/bartender as she moves with ease, purpose all whilst building rapport.
The burger was juicy, done to the temp requested, kept you coming back for more after each bite as the thick sliced bacon and fresh veggies blended with every chew. Constructively criticizing this gem would be to let the patty rest 60-90 seconds because the juices made the bottom half of the bun soggy on one side, which is what I ate first, . This was a solid burger, it dripped so much it was I used a few napkins under it to keep the juices under control, I highly recommend. They have crisps (Welsh for potato chips), instead of fries, living up to their theme.
A cornucopia of photos are strewn over the walls with phrases thrown in here and there. You definitely feel the Irish vibe.
Parking is on the street and with it’s popularity, weekends will require a 2-3 block trek to this iconic bar.
