Today we ordered two tacos and they were stacked directly on top of each other, smashed and messy. Even more disappointing was the lack of customer service — no greeting, no friendliness, and no care when handing off the order.
This is my home location, and it’s frustrating to see such a decline. Management needs to seriously reevaluate staff training and quality control. I hope this gets addressed so other customers don’t experience the same thing.
Onions and cliantro on the carne asada fries were a little too strong for my taste. Only down side was the salsa had clumps (as if it was frozen and thawed out). May check it out again
I first spoke with Melissa, who insisted she could not process a refund—even after I sent a photo of the incorrect order, which she requested because she didn’t believe me. I then asked to speak with a manager and Janessa came on the line. After explaining the situation to her, she told me she would place me on hold, but instead I heard the entire conversation between the two employees.
Janessa asked Melissa what she should do (which is concerning for someone in leadership position), and Melissa replied, “Just tell her you can’t do it. If we process the refund, it will show we’re short in the register.” She went on to say, “If we’re short, we can just take it from the tip jar.” Janessa again asked, “What do I do?” And the response from your employee was, “Just hang up on her, and if she calls again, hang up.”
I did call back—no answer. I called a third time, and Melissa finally picked up. I told her that if Janessa, the manager, plans to talk about customers, she should at least make sure they are on mute. She didn’t apologize or show any concern for what I had just heard.
Ultimately, to receive my refund, I had to drive back to the restaurant in person. When I arrived, I asked to speak with Janessa, but she refused to come to the window and instead sent Melissa to issue the refund.
It is extremely disappointing to witness such a lack of integrity, accountability, and basic customer service. Experiences like this reflect extremely poorly on the business.
Called and talked to who said she was the assistant manager she was very helpful (sarcasm) told her I wanted a full refund and would take this burrito back to her, was placed on hold for 5 minutes so she could call the manager who wasn’t even there! This place has gone down the drain! Never again!
