my friend got the Pho Tai Bo Vien and got food poisoning from the meat. I tried the broth and noodles and am fine, but he is not! beware. I got sautéed lemongrass chicken and it was so mid The chicken was doused in a lemongrass sauce, too sweet, and not very seasoned. the limeade is subpar as well. i got a piece of ice with random flecks of black? we also got the special cream cheese wontons, which were too thin for my taste. my friend thought they were good though.
random note, the fortune cookies have stake (gambling site) ads on them. i’ve never seen ads on fortunate cookies before, it was interesting
food aside, the restaurant itself is cute. it has a greenhouse eating area and a huge spoon as decoration. there’s also free parking.
if you’re taking the 30 bus here, you can kiss an hour of your day goodbye. it was around 5pm and the bus was so delayed. when it came, the driver told me not to get on because she was going to change route… right…
to end on a good note, the Ca Phe was delicious. My friend says, “the coffee was five stars, legit.”

The food here is absolutely amazing. Really fast service from wonderful people. Quiet cozy atmosphere. This should be on your list of regular places to eat out at!!

Food just isn’t very good. No fresh vegetables in any of it and super greasy. Most spring rolls have carrots and cucumbers but theirs are just full of iceberg lettuce? I also ordered Veggie Dumplings but received tofu egg rolls instead. Decent food for a one time visit but not something I would go back to.

I was hoping for better. The room was very cold. Tables were cold to the touch. I got sweet and sour shrimp for $12. I got 4 fried shrimp that were decent – so was the hot tea. But the fried rice was cold – like it had come out of a refrigerator cold. The two egg rolls were hot. But they were much more roll than anything else. The space was clean, though run down. I don’t like to give weak reviews, but I find myself wishing someone has tipped me beforehand. On a positive note, if you do eat there, they have free parking right outside the building.

I eat here at least 3 times a month easily. Work across the street at the dental non-profit. Always a friendly face and have my food waiting for me when I’m taking lunch. Wings are AMAZING. I love the pho and boba too. Great place!

So I’m already biased because this is a good friends restaurant. But the Vietnamese eggrolls are really light and crispy, the Vietnamese coffee was amazing!!! It was also my first time there. Please support this local, i think we will be seeing more of him in the future Great location D2. I am very happy for you my friend

My order of pho was garnished with A) no basil, which should be a crime, and I kid you not B) iceberg lettuce. In the soup. Iceberg lettuce.
This was literally the saddest pho I’ve ever had in my life.
Pho comes in so many permutations, and I usually embrace how each restaurant adds their own spin on this classic, magical meal. This was the only time I’ve ever been disappointed in eating pho.

I’ve driven by this Vietnamese restaurant for years but never ate there until the other day. It totally exceeded our expectations. Absolutely everything that we ordered was delicious. Their service was so nice and accommodating. We were seated in the area with lots of windows, I liked that it was sunny and bright. When I commented to the owner that it was a little cold, he then said he could bring a small space heater. He set it up right behind us and it definitely helped us feel more comfortable. We definitely will be back. My two companions very much liked their Pho entrees. We all thought the crispy chicken appetizer was especially tasty. I really enjoyed my lunch chicken entree and the spring roll was the big and tasty. We definitely are coming back. The lunch prices were quite reasonable. The restaurant was clean and attractive It had a lot of character, in a good way.
