Visited from out of state to pick up some beans for my stay. Staff was very helpful and informative and ground my beans for me. The single origin Guatemala is some of the smoothest flavor I’ve ever had in a coffee roast – highly recommend of you don’t like bitterness or acidity.

They were also very helpful with their specialty drinks and served us some lovely lattes. The chai was sweet and still had a light spice, and the local specialties are worth the try while you’re in the area!

I love the vibe here. I did not research the origin. It felt like family or community here. Something about it feels ‘real’. Made with heart.
The breakfast empanada was fantastic, as were the chocolate chunk and molasses cookies.
I cannot explain why it felt like a warm, community, family, friend place. It’s just how it felt.
Fantastic place, great food, tempting menu.

While waiting for a friend I stopped in here for a small coffee. First time here and the service was quick yet very nice and it had a very quant atmosphere. The coffee here is very good (I had a mocha) and worth the stop.

Calioh… where do I begin? Cozy atmosphere. Delicious baked treats. And, of course, high-quality coffee. Staff are accomodating and provide excellent service. A weekend staple for us.

I have worked customer service related jobs most my life, so I am sensitive and aware of poor service. The crew here at Calioh coffee is top notch. The way they are attentive, genuine, and just really nice to each other as well as every customer is heart warming. Both myself and my wife are coffee snobs, and hypercritical to crap food, so we have come here many times while visiting family in Moorpark. Every experience here just makes it easier to come back. The only complaint I have is that they don’t open till 7am. Life would be easier for us if they opened at 6am!

Calioh Coffee is a cozy coffee shop that’s in the city of Moorpark. It takes huge influence with Latin inspired food and coffee, as well as some American fare too.
The area is cozy and nice. The space seems large, and the vibe is very central American. Open chairs and cool Saltillo tile help to absorb heat and provide cool seating on the inside.
The coffees are made well. I tried the Adelita Latte, which is inspired by the Cafe de Olla. With a signature blend of syrup and spices. The drink was just right in temperature and tasted fantastic.
They also serve sandwiches for lunch or empanadas as well. I tried the seasonal offering, which was the Italiano. A nice cool Sami with the appropriate amount of ingredients for a hot day. The bread was a rustic loaf, with cool pickles, cheese, and meats to help balance it all out. They threw in a side of chips, and I was all set.
Overall, it is a fantastic small shop that is definitely worth the time to visit and discover what drinks fancy your tastes.

Stopped by for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! The staff was super friendly, recommending multiple fresh made pastries. The blueberry crumb muffin and the Mexican Mocha were both excellent. Highly recommend stopping by.

What a delightful coffee experience, right down to the beautiful swan “painted” on my latte! The atmosphere was cozy, the service sweet and friendly, and the coffee and pastry were truly a cut above— all at a very competitive price point. Bravo Matt!
