It was my first time eating there and I LOVED IT! The Cuban bowl is sooooo good (limited time)! The fried plantains and de mango salsa is insane!!! I never imagined to find a place with “patacones” in a rice bowl! The best part of my experience was when I found an untypical wall WITH MORE THAN 70 DIFFERENT TYPES OF SPICY SAUCES!!! from now and forever will be my favorite place!

The queso is fluorescent orange goop from a can. It’s super salty and gross. We got a classic taco and it was $4.50 and no where near as good as what you’d get at Taco Bell (which isn’t that hard to beat)

This place gives you food from the refrigerator . It’s cold food served. You go out to eat good food. The kids menu was served without black beans:(
When you tell them that – you don’t want it they just tell you ok – that’s how it’s supposed to be and don’t even have the courtesy to even ask if you wanted something else.
The lady over there was plain rude. The service is bad and they are not polite at all .Very rude staff.
California tortilla sorry – this will be my last time to come here . You just lost a customer for life .

Worst tacos I have ever eaten. Ordered fish and chicken tacos. Both fried black and it just like eating hell. Rice bowls are horrible. It’s eating like mud.

Easily the worst experience of any visit to a California tortilla. It took over 3 minutes to get the order correct. The order taker was adding double items, items I didn’t request. After what I thought was squaring the order away. I receive my order and it’s not what I ordered. Rather than go back thru the process or waiting on line for a refund. I accepted the order. Please going forward, of someone is talking an order. They must be able to actively listen and understand what’s being said.

I went in tonight because this location is part of the T-Mobile Dining Program. As soon as I walked in I noticed that the dining area smelled of bleach. An employee was mopping the floors and no one was in the dining room at 5pm, but they don’t close til 8pm. I used the bathroom before I went to place an order. The whole store looks like it’s falling apart with sections missing from the floor, dirty atmosphere, etc. when I came out of the bathroom I noticed a fruit fly right in front of me (not a good sign) and looked at the menu, but with the bleach smell being so strong I decided to leave without ordering as I had my toddler and baby with me and didn’t want them breathing that in. The store needs a deep cleaning /remodel or something. It just feels gross in there.

I’ve been frequenting this Cal Tort location for two years now. Every time I go, the people are super friendly and helpful. The food is always excellent and extremely fresh. Today, my wife was hosting a karaoke party so I decided to go with them for the catering for a karaoke/taco night for 15 people. I ordered everything at 11:00 or so and picked up at 5:30. I found the process seamless and flexible as we changed the order during the day. Everything was packed very carefully and labeled clearly. Once again, this Cal Tort location came through for me. Outstanding and caring staff, great food, and perfect attention to detail for a large event. I rarely take the time to write any reviews whether or good or bad – this is long overdue for a restaurant in Brambleton that I feel is awesome every time I visit. Thank you!!!
