LOVE. Definitely will return! The service is attentive, and they have a great selection of rolls that have all types of fresh ingredients and special combinations.
Highly recommend their veggie croquette, Kendall roll, albacore salmon roll, and Piak’s fried roll!! Super tasty with generous portions. I also like their meat to rice ratio. My friend and I left the place both so fulled and satisfied!
The cash discount makes the price a total steal here around the area

We’ve been coming to this sushi spot for over 15 years—and now we get to share it with our kids, who love it just as much as we do. It’s a small, cozy place with an inviting atmosphere that feels like home. The chefs are incredible—not just talented, but genuinely kind—and the service is always thoughtful and attentive. After all these years, it’s still our favorite. A true neighborhood gem.

Great selection of cut rolls. They have spicy tuna stuffed tempura jalapeño that’s delicious. Their lemon pepper tuna cut roll is amazing! Chefs are great! Highly recommend! Not too many tables

25 years later and this place still knocks it out of the park! Baked scallop roll is still the all star! The big surprise though was the black snapper…it is melt in your mouth delicious.

This is a neighborhood gem. Freshest sushi, friendly service and good vibes all around. My daughters love their tempura dinner and I love their yellow tail sashimi, my husband loves the Chenzo roll. If you’re a rude customer, stay away.

This Sushi restaurant is the best in LA – the price is great and it’s very delicious!!

Everybody at the restaurant is friendly and welcoming and, most of all, the sushi making technique of KAZUO, the Chef, is incredible.

You will think that it is a restaurant that specializes in sushi rolls because it’s called
“California Roll Factory”, but they actually serve traditional style sushi, with an artisan technique as well!

What makes them special is that they don’t do the “suteshari” method, which is when the sushi chef takes rice out of the rice container to make sushi, and then puts what they didn’t use back in the container. They don’t use this method at good sushi restaurants in Japan.
They don’t use this method at good sushi restaurants In Japan, because it is considered unhygienic.

I’ve lived in Japan for more than thirty years and have been to many famous sushi restaurants, but even in Japan, it is getting harder and harder to find places that keep the traditional style like California Roll Factory does, so I was very surprised to find a sushi restaurant like this in Los Angeles.

I am very thankful and happy that it exists!

The reason they use plastic plates is because the owner did not want anyone to get hurt when the plates fall.

This place is good, but not great. The rolls are probably the better choice. Salmon neck was pan fried. The chicken teriyaki was good, but again, not spectacular. The garlic edamame was buttery. The prices are about average.
