I ordered a jumbo burger. The sandwich and bun was flattened. The burger was like chewing on leather. This was un appealing and was very tasteless. I used to get this alot the 1st few years they opened. It was flavorful and on a nice looking kiaser roll. Haven’t obeen here in like a year. I think chances of me returning are slim to none.

Today I ordered my food, and my boyfriend was going to pick it up. My boyfriend had an accident and couldn’t get there on time, and I arrived a little late to pick it up. They reheated my food and made fresh fries for me because the original ones were cold. In my opinion, this is something not all restaurants do, and even though I arrived late, I got my food hot. So, thank you very much for everything!

I ordered the veggie wrap lunch special, which comes with chips and a soda. When placing the order, I specifically requested fries instead of chips. However, my delivery arrived with chips instead of fries.
I also requested all veggies on my wrap with all sauces on the side, as sauces inside make the wrap soggy. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive some of the toppings I asked for, and neither of the two sauces were provided on the side.
I called to inform the restaurant about the mix-up. The person I spoke with recalled our conversation and apologized for the error. I was trying to give him a chance to correct the order as most places at least make attempt to correct the order. When I asked how he would like to resolve the issue, he asked me to keep the current order as is and mentioned that he would take care of the details next time. That response was very disappointing, as it placed the responsibility of being satisfied with my order onto me instead of correcting the issue now. It left me feeling that my satisfaction wasn’t a priority today, and I was expected to simply accept a $20 order that wasn’t prepared as requested. After this conversation, I don’t know about the next time, especially after spending $20! That person didn’t make any attempt to even correct the order.
While I appreciate the apology, I’m disappointed that the mistake wasn’t resolved for this order. I paid extra for delivery and tip, and it’s extremely frustrating to not receive the food as I carefully ordered. This wasn’t the first time I’ve placed an order with all details clearly stated and today was no different than last week’s order.
Edit: The owner reached out to me, and I decided to give them another chance. The owner was kind enough to offer me lunch on the house. This time, he personally took my order to ensure every detail was correct and even delivered it himself. I truly appreciate the owner’s efforts to make things right. Thank you so much for the wonderful service and thoughtful gesture!

California Pizza is an easy five stars for me. The staff is genuinely kind, the customer service feels personal, and the food never misses. fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Every time I go, it just feels like a good place to be. Highly recommend.

Enough is enough, starting this past October, I have noticed their portion on the turkey club has been getting smaller and smaller. They went from a 1$;to $2 for delivery fee, plus I tip $2 for my food. I’m having a hard time justifying spending $17 for three slices of bread, some bacon,a small bag of chips and barely any turkey. I am better off going to a fast food joint. I did complain one time and then they increased the portion but then back to this. Before October their portions were very generous.

I ordered two shrimp baskets and chicken fingers and fries…the food was disgusting, burnt and had a taste of old grease. The manager remedy to this nasty food is to refund 15%. Had the nerve to say this is how the prepare their food. I had their food before and it was really good, but this mess is not even edible…so disappointed…they do not have a customer in me

This place is rediculous. Pay for delivery, service fees and tip. I get my order and missing an item and they refuse to deliver the missing item. They want to give a credit on your next order but they never do. This is not the first time they have done this. You are paying them for their service but the customer is the one that suffers for thier incompetence. I DO NOT recommend this place at all.

This was one of the worst pizzas I had. This grainy crust, sweet sauce , and cheese wasn’t melted. I ate one slice and instantly threw up that slice . My friend ate the pizza and instantly had to go to the bathroom (poor soul). Never again.

Not sure what has changed, but the pizza is horrendous now. Ingredients are not as good and taste cheap, the pizza is cooked on the bottom, but still very doughy under the sauce and flops when you pick it up. The dough is also not kneaded the same as it used to be.
