First time here & Nothing to complain about it was great. The slice of key lime was huge very plentiful. Staff was nice & Bathrooms were clean. No wait time for us on a Monday afternoon.

I always love stopping at California Pizza Kitchen in Monterey whenever I’m in the area. Their Hawaiian pizza is absolutely amazing—the crust is perfect, and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. They also have a wide selection of drinks, and their pastas and salads are just as incredible.
One of my favorite things is their lunch special—pizza and a salad combo. It’s such a great deal and never disappoints. The service is truly wonderful; everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Daniella, Amelia, and the busser Juan are absolutely amazing and always make you feel right at home.
I would highly recommend California Pizza Kitchen in Monterey to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. ✨

Thank you it was our first time eating at the California Pizza Kitchen and we were very pleased. The atmosphere, food and service was wonderful ❤️our waitress Evalyn was very helpful and we welcomed her suggestions. We had pizza and Jambalaya a refreshing drink of mint and cucumber ! I was pleasantly surprised when she brought out olive oil dip with the bread. We will definitely be back!

The bread is soft with delicious dips. Lots of choices for appetizers. We settled with “healthy” avocado rolls and lettuce wrap, both delicious. We love pizza but do not want carb. That “the works” pizza with cauliflower crust was just perfect with generous toppings. There is that creative soup dish, two in one bowl. We filled in with tomato bisque and pea soup with barley. A wonderful eatery whether you want a bite while waiting for your EV charge up, or to reenergize for more shopping.

I had chicken piccata and it was the best I’ve had in a long time. Had to ask for bread and butter but the bread was very fresh. My sister had the dynamite shrimp appetizer and she would definitely order it again. I hadn’t been to California Pizza kitchen years and will definitely come back again.

This place has been my daughter’s favorite for a few years. My daughter, our guest and I ate dinner here. Two pasta dishes and one salad after some appetizers. Even though I areived later, they were able to get our appetizers and dinners all together. Service was great. Food was delicious and did not feel excessively loaded with salt/oils.

Everyone was welcoming! Our server was so nice! You can tell everyone love their job by the way they treat their customers! I got the club pizza– sooo delicious! Has generous toppings, the avocado was fresh, the crust was phenomenal! My husband got the chipotle and it was super delicious, too! My daughter don’t really eat pizza [ she’s 4 ] we ask them if she could have a bowl of black olives, and they did. That was super nice! The bathroom was clean, the restaurant is clean, the ambience is great! Can’t wait to go back!

We’ve come here several times during holidays with family and seemingly forget the poor service only to be reminded by our next visit! This time we all agreed to remember NOT to come back here on our future holiday get togethers the service is pretty rough- most of us gets our food while one or two others sits and watch everyone eat only to be told “it’s coming!” Yikes. We were all done eating by the time one of the children got their kids meal. So weird!
Same with the drinks. All drinks came except the carbonated water. Appetizers were even served while the carbonated water drinkers sat that thirsty 15 or so minutes waiting for the waters. Asked twice only to be told “they’re coming!”
They seemed bothered if you asked for a straw they forgot to give you or napkins (should’ve been on the table already) just pretty bad service . They made you feel bad saying something which was just as bad as having to wait for things. Never again. Nothing like pins and needles while trying to have a fun experience with family. Our bill was over $400 as a group of 15. Maybe understaffed every year?
