Let me say this… I was hungry. My Bestfriend wanted a Butter Cake and I wanted a BBQ Chicken Pizza… as such, we ended up at California Pizza Kitchen – Lenox.
Arriving at California Pizza Kitchen – Lenox, there was about a 3 minute wait. I added my name to the list and before I could even take a seat, my name was called and I was heading to my table. The location was clean and the ambiance was smooth and chill. That’s exactly what I needed.
Our server arrived at the table within seconds and was ready to take our drink order. The way I was ready to eat, I put my drink and food order in all at once. Listen, I told you I was hungry.
When it comes to my menu selection at California Pizza Kitchen, nothing compares to the BBQ Chicken Pizza.
Per the menu:
“THE ORIGINAL BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA
Created here in 1985. Our legendary BBQ sauce, grilled chicken, smoked Gouda, red onions, and fresh cilantro transform this original to iconic. [cal.190]”
This pizza is the best thing in life. The moist meaty chicken. Fresh cilantro. Thinly sliced onions. And that amazing hand tossed, chewy yet crispy crust… as I sit here and write this I want another one. LoL!!!
This trip was exactly what I needed today. Good service. Great food. And a perfectly made fresh brewed sweet tea. Yes, this is my happy place.
Bite after bite of freshness, goodness, and mouth-pleasing joy.

So work brought me to the Buckhead area today and I decided to visit Club Lenox to grab lunch. I had a CPK coupon given to me on Veteran’s Day that was soon to expire. When I got there, it was still super early so the restaurant was completely empty. I asked the hostess could I use my coupon for take out, but if not, I had no problem dining in. She went to ask the powers that be and returns with, “They said they’re not doing that right now?” I said, “What? Ya’ll are not doing what right now?” She responded, “I guess they’re not honoring the coupon or whatever.” I’m like, “It expires tmw.” She pretty much just shrugs her shoulders. Then I asked, “Did y’all give these coupons out on Veterans Day?” She says YES. So basically I left, ‘hangry’. Look…If you guys weren’t gonna honor the coupon you should’ve just stated that so I wouldn’t have wasted my time, parking my car, and coming to your restaurant. I had Shin ramen noodles instead and they were great! I’m CPK’d out for the year so it’s all good.

Food is always good. I tried the half thai salad. It was delicious but they don’t offer enough Thai dressing, for me anyway, I asked for more, I received.

Jacquline was absolutely phenomenalllll! She’s an absolute 20/10 server! We were having a rough day because I got news that I had to have surgery and she made our entire evening. Her humor was top notch and she made us feel very welcomed. Her recommendations off the menu were all A1 and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Antonio was amazing as well and helped clear our table. They were both incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite! They made sure we had everything we needed, in addition to checking on us to make sure we were still enjoying our orders. We shop at Lennox often and this is our go to spot ever time! California Pizza Kitchen is doing it absolutely right with their staff. We always have great food when we go and the atmosphere is very welcoming and the service is top tier!

Had a pleasant dining experience today with my girl for lunch. Unfortunately we came a little after 4pm but I suggest trying the lunch duet if you come here before 4pm. I really enjoyed sitting in the booths near all the shops and they do offer a great drink selection. I ordered the chicken piccata, margarita pizza hand tossed and my girl got the California Cobb salad. We also decided to go with the dynamite shrimp as a appetizer which I strongly suggest trying. Food came out in a timely manner and our server was very attentive. This location is my new favorite will be back soon!

Absolutely disgusting experience. I went to California Pizza expecting a decent meal, but instead I was greeted by bugs crawling around our table and near the food. We had just ordered pizza and drinks when they started showing up — it was revolting. I lost my appetite immediately. It’s unacceptable for any restaurant to have this kind of hygiene issue. The fact that bugs were around the food shows a complete lack of cleanliness and care. I will never eat here again, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Health department needs to pay a visit.

We both ordered the pizza + salad lunch special. We’ve always loved their original bbq chicken pizza and it’s still great.
Only recommendation for the salad is that either they put less salad in the bowl or switch to a bigger size bowl. It’s hard to mix/move the salad around in the bowl without salad pieces falling out. The amount of salad we both had falling out could have been another meal for someone.
Also the dressing is on top of all the large pieces of cheese so if you don’t love cheese like myself & decide to take some off you are then losing all of the dressing unfortunately.
Sad to see most of the locations closing like first Dunwoody then Peachtree corners so happy to see this Lenox location still open.
