I drive for a living so I end up at all kinds of restaurants and diners for the first time. I happened upon the mall here and I figured they had a food court that I would go eat in. Well they didn’t really have a food court but they did have this California Pizza Kitchen.

My husband and I went in today around 3pm-4pm. We experienced the most horrible service. They were already slow at the restaurant it was close to empty. The one blonde haired gentleman who wore makeup working as the host/server alongside another waitress who also had blonde hair were beyond unprofessional. The Asian bartender as well. I mean do these staff members even want customers or to do their jobs? It seems as if they’re too busy chit chatting away and goofing around as if we’re an inconvenience to them for coming to the restaurant which they treat as a hangout spot not actually providing service. My husband and I walked out. Will not be bringing service here again. Unfortunately Mitchell the GM was not in when I asked the woman to speak to him. Thank you for reading.

From walking in the door, a greet from the chef, from the front door. Then here comes Nate, kitchen manager with even more of a greeting. The cleanest most friendly staff ever. Then I met the general manager I believe, super nice but didn’t get his name. He was cute with blonde hair. Lol.. Was traveling for work and stopped in to eat and shop! I was definitely Wowed!!! Our waiter (Micheal) was very pleasant and extremely helpful. We had a huge salad that tastes very fresh. Alongside the salad we had a pizza that was very good and plentiful. Overall amazing experience.

Have not been to a CPK in awhile and was expecting a nice lunch with a friend. However, the menu was very limited on this particular day. I’ll attribute it to the pandemic supply chain issues. Pizzas were ok to order plus some lunch items. Many entrees and pastas were not available. Food was alright.

Nothing to dislike about the home of the original BBQ chicken pizza. Some solid non pizza options on the menu, decent beverage options. No complaints, my preferred sit down restaurant option at Briarwood.
