Came in for a late lunch early dinner. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Marcus who is very sweet and inviting. He gave great recommendations on drinks and appetizers and entrees. The California colada was absolutely delicious and fresh not too sweet just perfect. Marcus kept our table clear in between order and had everything out in timely manner so the table wasn’t over crowded with food or empty plates and cups. He recommended the carne asada pizza it was delicious! Definitely coming back because of the overall and Marcus is the cherry on top!

Food at CPK lost it charm.. It was not like before.. everything tasted bland n not so fresh.. After many years we gave it a try and they disappointed us. Soup was so bland and so was the shrimp. Pizza was ok.

After watching the Yankees beat the Rockies, my girlfriend and I decided to go to California Pizza Kitchen. I haven’t had it in a while and was very excited about eating there again. So we ordered Rosemary Potato Pizza w/Cauliflower Crust & The Works Pizza w/Cauliflower Crust. Washed it down with Golden Cadillac Rita. Food was fine, and drinks were decent. However our table was very sticky. Our server didn’t bring us any plates to eat off of, so we had to ask another server for them, and she only came by once to check on us. The atmosphere was ok.

I walked in to get my to go order and asked the hostess where to go. She pointed toward the bar without saying a word. So, I walked over to where she pointed and stood there under the pick up sign for so long. Many minutes passed and no one came or acknowledged me at all. The hostess had disappeared by this time. Finally the super tall guy there making pizzas came and asked me what I wanted. What do I want? Ok…… So, I told him I had an order and my name. Without saying anything he packed up my order and sat it on the counter and walked away. I am actually floored by the way these employees are acting. I spent just under $80.00. Eighty dollars. The employees obviously do not care, and extremely rude for no reason. I honestly wish I could take back my 20% tip. I’ll never come back here for fear of having to deal with that hostess, and the other guy again. Do not recommend.

This was the worst tasting pizza I have ever had, bland with no flavor. The butter cake took 20 minutes to show up and when it arrived it was a defrosted piece of disaster

Good quality food but I have some comments. We ordered the below:
Spicy buffalo cauliflower: This was so good that by the time I could take a picture it was over. The serving had exactly 7-8 pieces of cauliflower so the quantity is bit less.
Roasted Garlic Chicken: Was okay. The taste was definitely not as great as my first time, the cheese was not evenly distributed and hence felt the pizza was dry.
Chicken Tequila Fettuccine: this pasta was so good. The salt was less so after adding some salt all flavors came out.
Spinach Artichoke dip and chips: Very okayish.

The food was great. I had one of their lunch duos, Thai crunch salad and barbecue chicken pizza. My dining partner had cedar plank salmon. Everything was tasty. Like a lot of places, they seemed a little under staffed so things took a little bit longer than they should have. It wasn’t the fault of the server as she was nice, attentive, but really running to cover half the restaurant, and there seemed to be no seater so she was doing that as well. The building is showing its age. Looks like it needs new carpet.

For my first time, I can honestly say waiting an hour for my food and not receiving my drink until my meal was nearly finished was somewhat disappointing, as was the fact that my drink was not filled to the standard level. If you are going to take a customer’s money to provide change, ensure you are aware of their change. I had high expectations and was excited to try this establishment, but unfortunately, I felt let down. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to give it another chance.

-We had to wait so long just to get our check when we were one of 3 parties. The servers kept talking and just hanging out.
