Food was good and delicious. Ate pizza and had a Thai crunch salad which was pretty spicy. Server was concerned about food getting out to tables than refills on the drinks. All in all good food. Props to the cook!!

3 Pieces of steak, less than 2 oz, on the Steak Salad. The kitchen said that is the standard set at headquarters. I’m still hungry. The only saving grace was a fabulous waitress.

I had so many expectations as CPK has been one of my favorite pizza places. Yesterday when I went with my friends to dine in, it wasn’t it.
The person on the front desk were the sweetest and sooo nice, they arranged a table for us and helped us out.
We went to the bathroom later, the line was huge because one of the bathroom in the ladies room was gross and not clean at all, the other one didn’t have a lock so someone had to hold the handle while someone was inside, honestly a horrible nightmare.
Surprisingly the food didn’t take that long, I had to call for Parmesan on my pizza and had my hand raised for 10mins and nobody came even when people there saw it. So we had to go up to the front desk and ask them, they were so nice and helpful and helped me asap.
There were 7 of us and the server messed up our bill and I ended up paying taxes for all of our dinners plus for someone’s drink that I didn’t order. I waited for 10mins maybe 15 just to get my receipt. And then 5more for them to come back and help me with my query. Then the server told me that he will ask his manger to cut off the extra charge from my card and I can leave. I left but the chargers never got taken off.
This experience wasn’t it and I don’t recommend it.

I recently dined at California Pizza Kitchen in Tysons Mall, and I can confidently say it was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a while.
From the moment we were seated, Kim, our waitress, provided exceptional customer service. She was attentive, friendly, and incredibly personable. We never had to remind her about refills or anything we needed she anticipated everything and took care of us effortlessly. Her professionalism and warm personality truly elevated our dining experience.
Compliments to the chef as well every item we ordered was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. From the drinks to the entrée to the dessert, the presentation was beautiful and the flavors were outstanding.
Because the experience was so impressive, I asked to speak with the manager, Oswaldo Cornejo, to personally share my appreciation. He also demonstrated outstanding customer service and created such a welcoming environment. I observed how he interacted with his team they were smiling, complimenting each other, and seamlessly tag-teaming to support one another. It was clear that strong leadership was in place. Oswaldo leads by example, and his positive leadership is reflected in his staff’s professionalism and teamwork.
I would also like to acknowledge the gentleman preparing the drinks he showcased his skills with professionalism and confidence, adding to the overall positive atmosphere.
This establishment was clean, welcoming, and delivered on every level food, drinks, desserts, service, and leadership. I truly could not leave without praising the entire team.
I will definitely be back and highly recommend stopping by for a wonderful dining experience.

After a long day, I came to sit and enjoy the evening on Friday at 8:05 pm. There were 3-4 waiters, talking and hanging out around the bar! After 15 minutes of waiting, I left. No one even tried to bring water. If you guys don’t like your job, change it. There is no reason to ruin people’s night.
