I ordered the fish and chips and was very impressed. The fish had a crunchy, golden coating with moist and flaky meat inside. The flavors were well balanced and tasted fresh from the kitchen. It is a classic dish prepared with real care and quality.

If you haven’t eaten here, then this should be on your bucket list. It’s located right next to the 210 fwy, the food is outstanding!! Every time I’ve eaten here, the food is fresh and extremely tasty. I took a picture of my plate. I got the Atlantic Salmon with garlic butter sauce, Brussels Sprouts, and cauliflower rice. My husband got the tacos. I can’t even begin to explain the flavor of these Brussels Sprouts, its kinda like mild salty sweet with a burst of flavor. It’s a party in your mouth here!!! I also love the large touch screen order pad. If you dont want to use that pad, then you have the option to have a person order it for you. Fast service, super clean place, and seriously delicious.

It was very busy when we visted but the staff was awesome. They got the line down and orders out without skipping a beat. The ceasor salad was my favorite. I ordered a white fish with cajun sauce and zucchini. It was okay, i feel it could have been seasoned more but overall it was better compared to other places. The fish tacos is a must have.. it was tasty.

Food was decent but my experience was definitely influenced by the weird vibes of the older white male worker with glasses. Right off the bat when ordering, he was kinda hostile. Didn’t think much of it. Then I realized he kept going to every single table to check up on them…except ours. It definitely felt like a microagression because he kept checking on the white diners…but not the brown diners.

Update: I have returned to give this place another chance and was delighted. I ordered the kids fish and chips and it was the perfect portion and the smaller pieces of fish had less batter making them delicious! Great experience! I’m from the Pacific Northwest. I love good fish and chips. Unfortunately California Fish Grill underwhelmed. The breading was light and crisp, but lacked any flavor. The fish was listed as “white fish” instead of cod and had a heavier texture to it than cod. Before arriving, I mistakenly thought the grill was a restaurant, but it is actually more of an upscale takeout place. There is seating but you order at the counter. Many items on my order were forgotten and I had to keep returning to the counter to get both items that were forgotten as well as items that should have been included automatically (like napkins and utensils).
The clam chowder also was nothing to get excited about. Overall, everything was adequate, but not a place I would go out of my way to return to.

I use to dine in here at least once or twice every other month because they had great service and food tasted good. After this self service machines just like every where else that has these machines customer service is out of the door. Past few times (dine in) including this one (take-out), rude service. My personal opinion customer service no different then a McDonald’s customer service. Food just doesn’t taste the same to me. Keep in mind we all have different taste buds, so I do recommend trying this place at least once.

The customer service is great! I wish I obtained the young mans name that was at the register while we were doing self order. He was very pleasant and attentive. I ordered the catfish, white rice and rosemary zucchini. I didn’t care for the Zucchini only because rosemary is strong. Spent $21

I first would like to thank the Owners for thinking up a place like this , to the wonderful chiefs who cook the food and last but not least, to the servers . This is such a great place to go if you are eating healthy and even if you not you should still try this place. It was my first time going and I ordered the Salmon and Swai combo with rosemary zucchini and kale slaw. My husband got the same but his sides were cauliflower rice and balsamic Brussels sprouts. We also got the fried calamari and let me tell you everything was perfectly and amazingly delicious. They have so many different selections that I am definitely going back to try everything on that menu. ❤️
