Yes, this place is pricey, let’s get that out of the way. Yes, the portions are smaller than, let’s say a mexican seafood restaurant size. I still gave this place 4 stars ( 4.5 if I could) because the food is delicious! I’ve tried almost the entire menu and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The drink selection is nice too. Fresh, yummy seafood. Great for eating healthy or on a diet but still want to eat out. Just be ready to drop the $$$

I stopped by this California Fish Grill for lunch today to pick up something for my wife since I was already in NoHo West. My wife wanted her Cajun Atlantic Salmon with fries and Asparagus. She also wanted clam chowder as well. I parked in the garage near the Regal Theater since it’s free parking and walked from there to this place. When I came during lunch, they were not busy at all probably because people are shopping for Black Friday. The employees here are very nice and the inside dining area is spacious. They also have outdoor dining area as well. It took about 10 minutes for my food to be ready but I understand because it’s fish and they likely had to warm up the oil for the fries too. I got both salsa and asked for lemon as well. My wife really like the clam chowder and her salmon but they placed the salmon on top of the fries in the to go container so I would advise asking it in another container if you can.

If you haven’t been to Fish Grill NoHo West, drop everything and go; this location blows every other Fish Grill out of the water. The food is consistently phenomenal: incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and always served piping hot. You can taste the care in every bite. And if you like spicy, you must try the Dynamite Shrimp; it’s addictive and easily one of the best items on the menu.

The wife and I finally found a low cal option that is local, reasonably priced for the volume of food you get, and absolutely D E L I C I O U S. The place was clean, staff were friendly, and the outdoor seating was shaded and comfortable. Their online menu is AWESOME and allowed us to set our nutritional preferences and find combos that fit our personal needs. So, we knew exactly what we were getting and putting in our system. And did I mention that the food was delicious?!?! Between us we had the Parmesan String Beans, Grilled catfish, zucchini & rosemary, THICK Asparagus, Giant shrimp, shrimp skewer, and Cauliflower rice. We left feeling full, but now heavy, and took PLENTY of leftovers for our dinner. We will definitely be back… and we’ll be bringing others!

I like to eat here every couple of weeks. The fish is delicious! It’s well prepared, and the sides are awesome. I especially enjoy the grilled shrimp and swai white fish plate. The sides I usually get are the cauliflower rice & grilled asparagus ! Fairly inexpensive, and a really decent portion that’s guaranteed to leave your belly satisfied! If you were a fan of seafood, and don’t want to spend too much money and get more bang for your buck, I definitely recommend California Fish Grille. With multiple options for how to season your food, and several choices of delicious, fresh fish, this is a great place for yourself or for your family!

For those of you who have never been, California Fish Grill is a fast, casual restaurant. You walk up and order off a large overhead menu board. Everything is pretty straightforward and when your order is complete, they text you to let you know your food is ready.
This is my first visit and my wife’s second. I went with the Louisiana Delta Catfish for my protein with garlic butter sauce. For my sides, I had the brown rice (which I truly enjoyed) and the fries (which were very meh). They weren’t fresh and didn’t have salt. Eaten with my fish, they were okay, but I will not tempt fate and order them again. My wife also had an offer for a free taco, so I chose the Cajun Fish taco. That is something I can see myself ordering again. It looked great and even though there were a lot of toppings, everything blended together well.
My wife went with the Paleo Salmon Cali Bowl, with cauliflower rice and zucchini tomato mix. She loved her all food.
All in all we will be back.

The dining experience at California Fish Grill located in North Hollywood was phenomenal! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly attentive (Adela). I especially loved their shrimp tacos, which were perfectly cooked with a little toke of dynamite sauce. The presentation was as impressive as the taste. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting the area. I’ll definitely go back again.

Good value for the price. Keto Salmon was delicious. Vegetables were a bit oily but flavors were good. I like that everything has calories listed, even the individual parts of the build your own bowls. Tons of seating inside and outside. Food came out pretty fast although there was a bit of an initial wait in line. Staff was attentive and the place was clean. Solid place for a healthy meal.
