We ordered a few drinks before our dinner. The Margaritas were quite small the long island premium was mediocre.
The steaks came out cooked to perfect doneness, but a very clear difference in size, even though they were supposed to be 14 oz. The ny strip was huge however, the ribeye was thin. Not many appetizers to choose from. Not many sides to choose from either. Overall great service except at the end our waiter picked up a beer without asking that was less than half way finished. Much more casual than we expected.

Don’t go at night if your eyes are not the best. Lol. I’ve noticed that the menu has changed a lot. They don’t even serve the Crab claws anymore which were always an affect plus. I had the peach drizzled porckchop and it was pretty good. Center cut. The hubby had steak and mashed potatoes in which he enjoyed. He also had a peach smash. The salads here are still top notch along with the honey drizzled croissants. All in all still the same CD I remember.

Our waitress was great! My fav thing here was the croissant which comes with as a side with a lot of meals. I got the Cali bowl with tuna poke and the Chipotle mayo. My grandma got the filet migon and it was amazing. Super kid friendly, will definitely be back. Drinks were really good as well.

I can’t say enough GREAT THINGS about the Team at California Dreaming in Greenville!! SPECIFICALLY about the Manager Craft and the amazing server Madison (Maddie) who went above and beyond to take care of my family on 2/7/26 on an insanely busy Saturday night when we arrived unaware that we DID NOT have the 6 PM reservation that my 87 year old Father SWORE that he had called and made to celebrate my Mother’s 84th birthday (she suffers with dementia)!! Well, the reservation was no where to be found & my Father (of course) didn’t have his phone!
Technology is really tough on the elderly!!
We were all almost in tears, and my ex- military father mortified when Craft jumped into action as the incredible Professional & great Manager that he is!! We were able to grab a nice BOOTH up at that was PERFECT and out of the way!
Then MADISON appeared and made our dining experience an ABSOLUTELY PLEASURE and a memorable experience! We never wanted for anything!! She was always on point, and even brought us some complementary croissants for our wait!! Yum!! Then, when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Madison brought my mother, a hot brownie with ice cream for her birthday- Which happens to be her favorite dessert in the world!! All and all, we can’t stop singing your praises and I’m sure my parents will go back to Rolling Green Retirement Village and do the same!!

I’ve been here a couple times before but we came today for our Thanksgiving dinner. We had a reservation & still had a wait a bit which is completely understandable considering its holiday. We were waited on by a lovely young lady and the food was wonderful. The thanksgiving menu was perfect & we loved it. Would definitely recommend.

I was in Spartanburg for a work trip and stopped for a quick lunch. The server was amazing. The salmon salad was good, but the balsamic dressing was a little too much for my taste. But overall it was a great lunch and I would come back.

Absolutely beautiful ambiance, great food and genuinely kind and accommodating service. We had the marinated Sirloin steak and Salmon topped salad ( would recommend dressing on the side) great evening and we visit this place each year when visiting Greenville. love so the She Crab and Potato soups!

We stopped in here at my BIL & SILs suggestion before going to see a show in Greenville. The restaurant had a “castle” feel outside and a pretty interior. It was very busy but we only waited about 10 minutes for our table. We were seated in the center of the restaurant where lighting was low/minimal and it made it difficult to read the menus. By the windows would have been better to get sone natural light to help with that.
I ordered the shrimp cocktail and ceasar salad and my hubby ordered the nachos and wings. Loved my shrimp which were succulent and warm and the salad was just right with its crisp lertuce, generous amount of dressing, and tasty crutons. My hubbys wings were luckwarm when he got them but the nachos were good which we all shared in. Given he ordered apps for his main meal, we speculated they had made them and tgen realizes they were going to come out first as a traditional app so they sat until the rest of the meal was served. Enjoyed the croissants which came with most dishes.
Service was fine given how busy it was.

I truly enjoyed myself. I was very impressed with the service. I was impress how quickly the appetizers was served after my order was taken. My waitress was very knowledgeable of the food on the menu which was helpful in making a decision.

What an amazing experience. I don’t know where to start. The food is great. I have visited a few California Dreaming Restaurants and this is the best. Sydney was so considerate and anticipated every need. The wait staff obviously get along. They smiled and seemed very cheerful. I could go on about the food, it was great. However, the staff stole the show. Truly a pleasant experience.
