The street tacos or mini tacos are fresh as you can hear the sizzling meat on the grill not beeps as your food is being prepared. As of 3/6/24 the mini tacos are $3.10 then on taco Tuesday they are $2.25 each so delicious… the inside is clean and friendly staff.

I ordered a carne asada torta, taste really good but portion size super small compared to other locations. Also I asked for chips and salsa loud and clear but didn’t get chips all though I can see it through the window. Worker didn’t seem to happy. Overall food did taste good.

Burned my carnitas! This is the 3rd time in the past few months. Went today (June 3, 2025) in the morning. My mini taco was burnt to a crisp. I love a good char but this was burned with a bitter taste throughout. The cooks were too busy singing to watch the food.

I always do taco shops. I’m a breakfast burrito in the morning or asada quesadilla for lunch or dinner. Both at this spot get 2 thumbs up thru their drive thru. I have not been inside so the review is truly their service there and the grub.

Good, tasty food with generous portions. Went there last night for a late night eat and ordered the fish taco combo. Fish was smothered in a tangy tarter sauce with greens and tomato to top it off. Came out hot and fresh and had that just fried crunch to it. 2 fish tacos with rice and beans and I was full for many hours later. Salsa bar was also really good. Each salsa tray was full and looked like it was just made. Had the avocado salsa and also the green salsa verde which I alternately drenched over my taco plate as well as tortilla chips. Washed everything down with a cold horchata. Mmm that was good.

Ordered a low carb chicken salad.
Young gal at the counter wasn’t quite sure how to handle the order, but with a few seconds consultation she did just fine. Food is quite good. Could have used a bit more cheese. No sugar free caffeine free drink options.
This was my first visit here.
The salad was excellent. I will be back and I would recommend you give it a try .

The place is very nice.. the food is actually very tasty and the portions are of good size as well.. it’s a bright an open atmosphere in the restaurant.. the plates will cost you.! But overall for a quick bite of South of the border I believe it’s a good choice.!

I’m not sure if there’s been a change in management recently, but the service at this California Burrito location has gone downhill fast. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 7 years, and unfortunately, my last two visits have been extremely disappointing.
Last night, I went through the drive-thru and was met with the worst service I’ve ever experienced here. The employee at the window dropped my change and didn’t say a word—just shut the window without a glance or apology. It felt like she didn’t want to be there at all. The entire interaction was disheartening and far from the friendly service I was used to.
I genuinely hope management takes notice. A surprise visit around 10:15 PM might be eye-opening. The service needs a serious upgrade. Sadly, I won’t be returning again due to the consistent poor service. Very disappointing.

We went for lunch and the food was decent. The torta was a little hard to eat due to the meat not being cut, but was yummy. It was nice that they brought it to our table for us.
My son purchased a little toy for 50 cents from the dispenser. It was faulty and had a big crack in the balloon (it was a punch balloon) and therefore was unusable. I asked for the 50 cents back so he could get a new toy and I was told that the dispensers didn’t belong to the business. I asked if we could still get it back and then they could recoup the money from whomever owns the dispensers. She said no. When I asked for the manager, she said I could come back on Tuesday. I explained I’m visiting because my sister is in labor and won’t be here on Tuesday and could I have the manager’s phone number. She refused to give it to me.
It’s a shame that they would say “okay” and shrug their shoulders to receiving a bad review over 50 cents. But here we are ♀️
