So today I took my wife to try out for the first time pupusas. Everything looked like if it would be perfect until drink orders. Our drink orders took over 14 min while we sat there waiting looking around there was only 5 tables and our sever looked like she was busy didn’t even looked at us she apologized saying sorry for the delay and I was like ok well it was ok we place our drink order as well as appetizer order and entree ordered cause we had all the time waiting. It 5 mins until I asked the other server if she can start us off with drinks and chips with salsa she was quick on it . Our sever Rhina was just walking around and said of you got your drinks I was MAD. Appetizer took 45 minutes to arrive Rhina didn’t ask for refills and drinks nor chips just passed by looking didn’t even hesitate to explain why it was taking long. As soon as our shrimp cocktail arrived we lost our appetite and decided to leave it to go.Entrees arrived it looked amazing but I had no drinks my wife was full off of drinking juice she is pregnant btw and this just got me so upset on bringing her here. I have been here numerous of times I never had this problem. Rhina at the end said it was the kitchens fault the chef came out and apologized I told her it was the kitchens fault bc our sever NEVER HAD COMMUNICATION. I am big on going to different types of restaurants and trying out different types of food. I was expecting at least to get a discount or at least the appetizer taken off for being there for over a hour and a half but nothing she didn’t even try. I would of rated Rhina a 0 star if possible. She was lucky I gave her a $2 tip I know everyone would of left nothing. Tab was over $70 for a bad experience not good Caliente Grill.

This is a very fun place with a welcoming atmosphere! It has outside seating and 2 rooms to eat inside. Customers can also eat at the small bar. My guest and I had different types of burritos and both were flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. Restaurant was clean and service was good and attentive. Parking can be tricky at busy times. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back.

us just two drinks. Then we ordered food, and it took about 40 minutes for the food to be served. They didn’t even ask us if we wanted water, we had to tell the waitress. The waitress never followed up with us to see if we wanted something else and when she brought us the food, she didn’t even apologize for the delay. The portions of the food were exorbitantly small for what we paid, and the food didn’t even have any flavor. The food was bland and so bad that we couldn’t even eat it. Super bad service and bad food. No waste your time here.

A food event on rainy day and left smiling, full and very honored to have a first time dining customer. The warmth when I walked in, the lovely waitress to the laid back ambiance. Caliente Grill is the quiet place that you must visit. My virgin margarita and shrimp veggie quesadilla was so delicious. The ground fresh vegetables were a beautiful mixture between cheeses and freshest shrimp. The Tres Leches cake was silky smooth with sprinkles and a cherry on top. I will return in the future so that I can fully appreciate the full menu options.

Let me start by saying that I have a chronic condition that makes it very difficult for us to find just the right place to eat specially during Covid , there are many factors I have to consider from fresh ingredients, to right condiments, to cooking methods, to safe, disynfectant place and clean bathrooms. Plus the fact that is authentic Honduran, Mexican cuisine done right in a delicious way very tasty
There are hand sanitizers, staff and clients wearing mask, outside seating plus the inside was properly distant from each table. Waiter patiently listened and answered all our questions since we are Puertorricans not too familiar with the cuisine.
And, there was ROXANNE, the amazing host, the owner , she found out it was our 1st time visiting and took the time to come out to meet us, giving a very warm welcome making us feel very good, also we loved the canoa GRACIAS We Are Definitely coming back!!! Those pupusas were delicious and my husband ordered the Fried Tilapia and loved it

The steak and Al pastor tacos were so good and well seasoned. The fish taco was not good, wouldn’t recommend but otherwise enjoyed my meal and the drink flavor of the day was pineapple and passion fruit both tasted absolutely refreshing and delicious. Would have tasted even better if I added a shot! The waitress, I believe her name was Claudia was awesome very kind and welcoming.
