Casual restaurant with big screen tvs throughout and an indoor outdoor bar and patio. They have great Monday night specials, Taco Tuesday’s, and Sundays Game day specials. Margaritas and tacos were great! Highly recommend for a casual outing.

I really wanted to love this place. Decided to try it out after driving by it so many times I’ve had zero luck finding a good Mexican restaurant in Dana point and was hoping that this one would surprise me. The salsa had little to no flavor, the steak tacos had no flavor. I will say the margaritas were very good and the Modelo on tap was good. Great spot to watch games. Service was good.

I might have high expectations for fish place so take that as a biasee⚖️. It’s not a Mexican restaurant. I (we) orded Hispanic food and drA*nks … it was closer to Tex-Mex: looks like Mexican food/drinks but has no soul .
Also, the RR ♂️was really dirty , I took a pic but felt i would do the restaurant a favor and not show it.
In the end ♂️, for the price ,

Very fun place, the staff were extra friendly and helpful. We arrived shortly after they had taken an order for a party of 40 and were nice and told us it could be a boot to get our food. That was nice that they were honest. Had some great drinks, so it was all fine. The food was very good, and the presentation was excellent. Adam was our server, very nice and attentive. Lots of big screens with every sport imaginable on, it is lively. Great bar area to just hang out in as well.

Tish and her team (Cali Costa Catering) catered our 160 person wedding at Skunk Train in Sept 2024.
We could not have been happier with Tish and her team. She carefully took our menu preferences into account, and created a delicious feast for us. Her team went above and beyond to deliver on the wedding of our dreams.
Skunk Train is a train in only venue, requiring Tish to load everything onto train cars to be hauled in and out. Our venue also required a full galley (kitchen build) from the ground up, and their own power and fuel sources to be brought in.
Tish didn’t bat an eye at this, nor our extensive dietary restrictions and meal requests, specifically the mac and cheese bake we wanted. Our request for salmon presented some challenges to, and in order to ensure it was as fresh and cost effective as possible, Tish researched and came back to us with creative and out of the box ideas on how to cook. This level of innovation she brought to all of her work was evidenced and wonderful.
Our wedding guests continue to tell us daily about how much they loved each of our dishes, and how impressed they were with the quality, temperature and thought that went into each dish Tish prepared.
THANK YOU Tish for creating such a delicious and memorable feast and all that it brought to our special day.

Wonderful food, excellent service, and most importantly it’s family owned. This is a great place for food. The food tastes good, is well prepared, and focuses on flavor instead of heat.
I had a breakfast burrito and my wife had the pancakes and eggs. Both were fantastic. The owner is very nice and so are the servers. We’ll definitely be back.

I have been here a few times now for Taco Tuesday and the service has not been great each time but the food was decent so we came back. Yesterday the service was the worst it had been out of all the times we’ve gone there. We were one of at most 3 tables in the entire restaurant and our server kept disappearing for about 20 minutes at a time. We ended up being there for 2 hours because the service was so slow. When we could see our server, she was busy talking to someone at the bar but we couldn’t find her when we needed something. The only saving grace is the food otherwise I would give this 1 star because of the terrible service. I will not be returning.
