This Cali Bahn Mi in Point Loma has the Vietnamese sandwiches, rice, soups, spring rolls and other delicious stuff. It is family owned and they make the most delicious French baguette in house. Everything here is delicious. The price on everything is low cost and very much worth every penny.
The staff is friendly especially Thuy (Twee). She is the sweetest most energetic, lovely hearted person I have ever met.
The inside seating is extremely comfortable and very inviting.
I brought my husband the second time I visited since he was out of town on my first visit and he is hooked on the Spring Rolls as well as the Sandwiches. He also loves the prices of everything for the size of the servings you get. We go weekly because we want to try all the Bahn Mi and Spring Rolls.
If you come to Point Loma or visit San Diego you absolutely have to visit Cali Bahn Mi and try everything on the menu.
If you are particular to not trying Vietnamese Banh Mi check out their other locations where they serve American and Breakfast Bahn Mi and Saigon fries along with other delicious items.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Ambiance gives off an aesthetic cafe vibe. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend this place. The Cali Bowl w/ Sautéed Tofu was a little dry so I recommend ordering several sauces to add to it like soy sauce, peanut sauce, and another sauce.

My husband I got a #6 and a #13 sandwich, both were so bomb and we took them to the beach to enjoy. Service was great, the lady helping us was super sweet. I also got a passion fruit green tea and it was super refreshing! Definitely will be coming back again to try more on their menu!

I’ve been coming here a lot recently, and their Bahn Mi’s are THE BEST!! Their prices are very affordable. The few people that have been taking my orders have been incredibly nice every single time. On top of that, this restaurant is ridiculously clean and polished on the inside. This place has been my go-to for lunch for a few weeks now. I 100% recommend this restaurant if you’re craving any kind of sandwich!

Great spot for Vietnamese Banh Mi! Inside decor is modern without being too trendy. There are plenty of tables for dine in. The menu offers a large variety of different Banh Mi options that should please everyone. I’m a traditionalist so I stick with the Dac Biet and I’m always full and happy. The size of the sandwiches are large without being giant. They also other entree items as well as boba drinks and teas. I’ve tried the bbq spring rolls and these things were huge with a ton of meat. You get two rolls along with some peanut dipping sauce; they were delicious! Overall good spot for lunch or breakfast with reasonable prices for delicious food.

You guys, this place has THE BEST food for THE BEST prices. Plus, Thuy is like your auntie away from home. She takes the most amazing care of everyone who comes in, I love being a regular here. I’ve had the pork and chicken bank sandwiches, egg rolls, fresh rolls, and pork and chicken wonton soup. Everything is delicious and generously portioned. And the Vietnamese coffee! YUM, can’t wait to be back. 🙂
