Food has been awesome every time we frequent Calhoun’s on the Green. I had the cheeseburger w/ onion rings and my buddy had the shrimp po-boy w/ onion rings. Both entrees were delicious. Calhoun’s prides itself on only using fresh ingredients and you can tell the food is handled with care. Be sure to substitute the fries with onion rings which are exceptional. But the memorable part is when the owner personally delivered our food, engaged in a friendly conversation, returned again to make sure everything tasted good and continued our conversation. Really nice guy! Great place to grab a cocktail before your tee time then relax with good food after golf. We will continue to frequent this establishment. Keep up the good work.

Great, great, GREAT food! I ordered the seafood platter and it was absolutely wonderful. My husband had the seafood gumbo and kept saying how excellent it was. Our waitress was so polite and had such a sweet, funny personality and other server kept checking in with us as-well. We were just passing through town and decided to stop in, and I’m so glad we did. If you’re looking for that good, homemade cooking, this is definitely the place to try!

This was our first time here, and it was awesome! The way everything is set up is so tasteful and inviting. But the food was even better. I got the chicken and sausage gumbo, and I’m so glad I did because it was so delicious. My husband got the Cajun chicken & shrimp pasta and practically licked his plate clean lol. We will definitely be back!!

We celebrated my mom’s birthday at Calhouns on the Green. We had the seafood combo. The food was great and it was enough for my mom and I to share! The owner was so sweet and he brought desert for my mom. The praline bread pudding was absolutely amazing!!

Food is always on point and service is great. Ellie was our waitress tonight and was very sweet. She checked on us often and our glasses were always full. Ordered the cajun dish “Catfish Tchoupitoulas” and it was amazing! Atmosphere is very nice and relaxing.

The food it always amazing and the service makes you feel like home. Had the crawfish eutoufee and the wife had the chicken strip basket. Both were amazing and finished the meal with peach cobbler that was delicious! Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Salad bar for lunch today while the other members of my party had the whole buffet (Sundays only). Everything was fresh and delicious, well presented, and continually checked for restocking and cleaning. Hubbie liked the variety the best (in other words, he liked it all!). Gumbo along with pastalaya, fried shrimp, and more!
