This a food place, and it was terrible! Reason for the 1 star review! Server was great despite the situation! Ordered prime rib medium well, pink, no blood, baked potato, butter sour cream, extra butter and sour cream.
The prime rib was more medium rare and had so much blood I used my napkins to soak it up, gross for someone who ordered it medium well!
The potato skin was hard as a rock and I like to eat the skin, it was not edible! The potato came with no butter in the potato, but sourcream. Who doesn’t put the butter in the potato first to allow the butter to melt? Who puts cold sourcream on it and the side butter was hard and wouldn’t melt in the potato either. I tried to at least eat the potato because I was very hungry and had waited an extended period of time for the food to come out and they weren’t busy! The potato tasted like shrimp/seafood. Luckily I don’t have a seafood allergy! We went for lunch so it wasn’t busy like dinner time.
I have ate at the River location in the past and all I can say is this location needs a new chef/kitchen manager.
We went for an Anniversary lunch and was sincerely disappointed in the quality of food this trip.
My husband who never complains wouldn’t even eat his Loaded potato skins because the skins were so tough. He described it as “Hard as potato chips!”

Service was friendly and attentive, atmosphere is kinda cool and casual, and my fish and chips were pretty good. I’m knocking it down because the prices are just too high to be honest. The value just isn’t there. This was an absolutely fine option for a Father’s Day treat for dad, but I won’t be back anytime soon if I’m being honest. There’s just a lot of cheaper options.

I realize it was a busy Sunday afternoon, but they did not live up to their good reputation. One order was wrong, and we did not receive the bread until the meal arrived. The waitress was very difficult to track down, and didn’t seem to enjoy her job. I think her name was Sunshine (or something like that).

Would have gave a 3 overall but the food was honestly so good it had to get a 4! The only thing lacking was the services understand it’s the holidays and what not completely. Was more than patient but definitely felt like the forgot table of 3 beside a large party. Any ways. Food honestly was phenomenal. Ps waitress was nice tho just wasn’t up to par for this table today.

Definitely the better of the greater Knoxville locations for food and service. We arrived after the busy period on a Sunday night. Chad, our server was very helpful and attentive to our needs and the questions of a 95 year old lady in our party. He is an excellent example of dining customer service!

Went tonight for a special occasion, ordered Ale steaks but they really were not Ale steaks because they were out of Ale butter. Was not told upfront or we wold have gone somewhere else. The steaks were good, but not Ale steaks. Service was good but the music was so bad that we really were ready to leave after we got there but wanted the Ale steaks we ordered. We were not given any reduction or offered anything since what we ordered was not what we received. Not really sure who is running this location with most of the clientele older people but music was not appropriate atmosphere and we will never go back to this location.
