Calhoun Steakhouse more than exceeds our expectations every time we visit. We called ahead to ask about accommodating a party of 30 people. Without hesitation they confirmed they would be more than happy to have us. We celebrated a birthday. The food was exquisite. No one had any complaints. We didn’t get any pictures because everytime a plate hit the table someone dug in. They have bottle of wine as well. Everyone enjoyed their food, drinks, and service.
If you’re looking for great food at affordable prices as well as a nice place to go enjoy a meal, this is a gem… slightly hidden in plain site.
The steaks were so good, we asked if the cook could come out for a round of applause and birthday cake. He obliged and we enjoyed it all.
Can’t go wrong with this lunch or dinner choice. I’ll be sure and add photos next time we visit.

The steaks were great! Cooked to perfection! We had three different steaks and we were all pleased with our meal. My grandson ordered a cheeseburger and it was pretty big! We will definitely be back and recommend to ALL of our friends and family!

What do you get when you place a steakhouse in a old Pizza Hut? The perfect combination of great food and a down home atmosphere. From the temperature of my steak(perfect medium rare), the tastiness of dessert, and my excellent service from Jessica. My expiations were blown away. A must try! Better than any chain restaurant around!!

My steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, and my husband said their country fried steak might be the best he’s ever had (excluding mine of course lol). Our server was great and I loved the laid back atmosphere – kind of like a mom and pop’s place, very comfortable. We will definitely be repeat customers!

This was our 2nd time eating here. I’ve gotten the Calhoun (6oz sirloin, chicken breast, pork ribeye, salad and side) both times and oh my goodness. Everyone is very friendly! It would be a weekly thing if we lived closer. Definitely will be going back!

Second visit i was SUPER disappointed. The dip was good, but my $23 Ribeye was really tough. I was bummed my dinner came immediately after my salad, but i only had a few bites of the steak(it was not good) and ended up just eating the salad and a bit of the potatoes. The waitress asked if i wanted to see the manager but it would’ve been embarrassing because i was in the middle of the restaurant by myself.
Great food! The bread is yummy, good butter, salad was nice and crisp. The macaroni and cheese was recommended and did not disappoint. I ordered the 6oz. sirloin and it was done perfectly and was tender. We got the spicy feta cheese appetizer and it was good as well. I will 100% o back again!

Farmhouse style steakhouse. The server was friendly and worked hard to take care of our every need. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, and tasted so good! Wonderful food. Clean and bright atmosphere. Very friendly.
