A St. Matthews institution, having been here for 25 years, the exquisitely authentic traditional Greek dishes never miss. The pizza would satisfy a New Yorker. The salad is fresh, and the beer is cold. Couldn’t ask for more, and best to come hungry. Having known generations of servers here reveals a pattern of kindness and hospitality that blends perfectly in this southern locale. Go here if you miss your mother as the wonderful woman who runs the till will make sure you are taken care of immaculately.

I loved eating here at this small town pizza restaurant. The food was good, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the staff was so helpful. Layla was such a wonderful server. I would definitely recommend eating here.

My son brought home his leftovers and shared with me!! Delicious and so topping loaded pizza. He had a pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper pizza. Irony is I don’t usually enjoy those toppings but delicious both times I enjoyed a slice for meals. Thank you for a great experience.

My visit to calhoun house of pizza with co workers last week was great. The food was fresh and delicious. The customer service was great. However, the wait was long for the food. I think they were understaffed because a help wanted sign was in the window. The resturant was clean and cozy. I will definitely vist again when in the area.

I grew up in St. Matthews and ate at this place a few times, but I never ordered pizza. My hubs and I were visiting, and Mom bought us a cheese steak pizza. Lemme just say, looks can be deceiving. At first I was like, “This pizza looks burnt.” But BOOOOYYYYY, it was GOOD! I’ve never had a 16″ pizza with such thick toppings for just $23. The toppings were twice as thick as the crust, and the pizza didn’t fall apart! Both my husband and I could only eat one slice! This has been the best “pizza value for your buck” I’ve ever experienced! Whatever y’all are doing to make pizza this satisfying AND cheap, keep it up!

Favorite Greek restaurant and pizza I’ve ever had! Ive been coming here since I was a kid, and I’ve traveled a bit and this is still my all time fav pizza, Greek potatoes, subs, salads and pasta dishes. It’s def a small, hidden gem in this town. Eat in or dine out; nothing fancy, nothing overpriced. Just good ole food and the world’s best dressing. The house dressing is so good I’d buy it in bulk if I could. Pleasant owners and staff as well.

Great food and excellent service! It is a little pricey compared to other House of Pizza restaurants but the food is very good. We had the appetizer sampler, side Greek salad, steak combo wrap with fries, a steak and cheese with fries, and a sausage and peppers sandwich with fries. Great little restaurant in St. Matthews and we will visit again.

They served me two orders of hot wings. I was sold twelve overly cooked wings. It seemed that they had been cooked in oil they NEVER CHANGE. In addition, I had ordered blue cheese. What I received was thin, watered down ranch. Disgusting and damn near inedible. Don’t buy food here.

I bought the meat lovers Pizza with three extra toppings it was almost $39 , when I got home water toppings wasn’t even on it, from someone that has culinary experience and also be an Italian. News it’s premade crust and very cheap bought cheese. I want to throw it away because of the Sarah taste from either the sauce the sour cheese, what is a crust from the pizza has been sitting out in the heat! I want to throw a pizza away . I would not recommend the House of Pizza in St Matthews go to the one in Orangeburg it’s fresh it’s better and a little bit cheaper also , I have never wrote a review and this is the first place that’s how bad it was
