¡Caldos es fabulouso!
Warm and friendly staff, family atmosphere. Chips and salsa with the order.
I recommend the Al pastor, asada, birria or barbacoa tacos. Yum! Quesabirria are also amazing. Consumé is fabulous. Horchata, etc. Did I say fabulous? Yes. Pasteles and unique homemade treats also available!

The food was outstanding. The service was amazing. We came in and they immediately accommodated us with 8 people. The waitress was wonderful and on top of all our needs. I highly recommend this place if you like authentic Mexican food as much as we do. The best steak wet burrito I’ve found yet in the greater Grand Rapids area.

Nice place with friendly staff. Food was good, tried 1 soup and some Quesabirrias, and both were good. Bathrooms were clean. Chips were very thick, seems to be made from actual cooked tortillas on premise. The salsa was ok, very fresh, the sauces give were a nice mild hot sauce and a green avocado style that also had a good flavor. Order and pay first, they directed to a seat and then they brought out the drinks and food.

We had Chilaquiles Verdes with eggs and also tried the MaruBirria (ramen and Birria)
We ate menudo blanco and burrito campero. Everything is so delicious! So, you order at the counter and pay, then they’ll bring it to your table. Super busy on Sundays. Only downside was the music was very laud and repetitive.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Caldos El Giro, and it was an incredible experience! I had a wet burrito that was as big as your head, and it was absolutely delicious. My family enjoyed their tacos, and we all loved the verde and homemade sauces—simply amazing.
This place is truly authentic! We also saw other patrons enjoying giant bowls of soup and ceviche that looked way better than one could imagine. If you love Mexican food, this place is the real deal.
Caldos El Giro is definitely one of the best hidden gems in Grand Rapids. Highly recommend!

I got the pozole rojo and it was amazing. Creamy and savory with lots of really good cuts of pork and hominy. Served with lime, radishes, and lettuce. And a cup of chili oil so you can make your bowl as spicy as you like. I will definitely come back here for the pozole alone, but the woman working here was very nice as well

I’ve been wanting to drop by for a while, and I’m happy I finally had the chance. I tried the pozole Rojo and I accidentally ordered chips with it instead of corn tortillas. Still, the service was friendly and the soup was very rich. There was a lot of meat and hominy in there, and the optional garnishes of radish, cabbage, lime and chili oil all made it that much more delicious. I’ll definitely have to try them again.

Came in for a quick couple tacos. I got the al pastor & barbacoa. They were the best I’ve had around town. I find al pastor is really hit or miss. The salsas were really good too, not watered down, & very flavorful. Don’t expect chips & salsa before your food.
No picture of the tacos because I was starving & inhaled them
