We had the tacos (see pics) and the most amazing dessert. Our server Sarah was so kind and made great suggestions for our first visit. The dessert cannot be missed.
Their food is delicious. The guac was made table side to order.
We had different tacos and they were all really good.
I also recommend you get their fried churro donut with ice cream. It melts in your mouth.
Do not skip out on guacamole which will be made right in front of you.
Other than that very enjoyable
It is a very large restaurant that can easily seat over 200 with both indoor and outdoor seating, but keep in mind that even the indoor section is exposed to the outdoors since there aren’t many walls on the sides. It does have AC blowing directly over the tables though.
To start, we ordered the table side guacamole, which they make to your preference of spice in front of you. Our preparer wasn’t very hospitable personally, but she did make a great dip. The avocados were perfectly ripe and the tortilla chips were dusted with spices, but needed salt to bring out the flavor.
I ordered 3 street tacos and loved the tortillas they came on. They weren’t uniform, so I’m assuming they’re made in-house, but I didn’t get confirmation from the waitstaff.
Al Pastor – Classic street taco that had a lovely mix of sweet and savory. The crispiness of the pork added great taste and texture without it being dry. I also appreciated that the pineapple was truly ripe as opposed to artificially sweetened, as well as the finely diced raw onions, which didn’t overpower the dish like you sometimes experience with large chunks.
Spicy Korean Pork Belly – The best taco, full stop. It’s filled with a big piece of chicharrón, not too meaty, but not too fatty either, that is caramelized from cooking down its brown sugar marinade. It wasn’t as spicy as I expected, but the flavor was absolutely incredible. The kimchi added a nice bite and fermented flavor too.
Cali Fish – The fish was well cooked and crunchy, but the meat itself needed more seasoning. The toppings and salsa with it were delicious however.
