Calandra’s Bakery in Fairfield defied my expectations with the
WICKEDLY
DELICIOUS
Pop Up!!!
Highlighting Wicked’s
Elphaba and Glinda!!

I followed the “yellow brick road” upstairs where the “Pink goes good with Green” Wicked decor is like something found “over the rainbow”!!
You definitely feel as if you arrived in the magical “Land of Oz”!!
With “flying monkeys and witches” “oh my!!”
The Wicked sound track resonated in the room! With “unlimited” favorite songs.

The Server Paulina was AWESOME!!

SPELBOUND SIPS
Glinda’s Pink Lemonade Shooter with pink glitter served in a heart cup!
Elphaba’s Sour Apple Brew served in a green class!

TOTO’S
BREAKFAST BASKET was so cute! And teeming with
Cream-Filled Donut,
Sfogliatelle, &
Sweet Brioche Bun!

Hot tea served in “Oz Emerald City Green”!
Teapot, cup & saucer!

The DEFYING
GRAVITY TOWER
With pink plates
Filled with the most delicious array of Calandra’s sweet treats!
Every bite was a spectacular indulgence!!

“I have been changed for good!” Experiencing this
“Popular “ Wickedly Delicious
Magical Pop Up!
“Toss, Toss!”

Unfortunately, I had to “click my heals” and say “There’s no place like home!” With a to go bakery box from the
“Popular” Calandra Bakery‼️

It you haven’t made your paid in full reservation! What are you wait for!?!
A personal invitation from the Wizard of Oz!
Highest compliment to the creator’s vision of Wickedly Delicious!!
If you can’t tell! My all time favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz and of course the Wicked movies!
Absolutely LOVED this pop up!
Definitely work my 2 hour drive to the pop up and 2 hour drive back home!!!

Our wedding cake tasted AMAZING! The whole process was easy, we reached out to make a cake tasting appointment, tried all the different cake combinations, and ended up choosing a 4-layer vanilla cake with alternating layers of cannoli filling, and vanilla custard and fresh strawberries filling. The cake was included in our venue cost so the only additional charge was the custom design that we wanted. After the cake tasting was done and order was confirmed, there was no further follow up on our end that needed to be done.

Ohhhh….Canlandra’s…where have you been all my life?
Since we moved to NJ from NYC, I haven’t really found a good bakery until now!!! The interior space is big and nicely designed. We ordered pepperoni bread which was so good. Everything else we ordered tasted fresh and homemade. Staff could have smiled a bit more but service was quick and they got the jobs done.
I’m going to go back there a lot more when in the area to try other delicious looking sweets. Highly recommended!

Some reviews complained about the service here. I had the best experience shopping here this morning! I had a pretty complicated order and the woman that served me was super nice and patient and we even shared a few laughs. Apple turnovers are delicious as well as the mini cannoli. Looking forward to enjoying the chocolate moose bombs a little later! Awesome service and awesome pastry!

Great service and incredibly clean. The rainbow donut was phenomenal and the pup cake was a hit with my dogs. Wish I lived closer but maybe it’s better that I don’t!

This was our first time at the bakery and what a great experience!!! We decided to purchase a few pastries to try and all were delicious! One of the best tiramisu I have ever had! The raspberry square has such an amazing texture, rich and sweet chocolate and freshness and tartness of raspberry makes it a perfect combination. (Thank you for a recommendation!) Cannoli… I should have purchased a few more. See you again soon

This is the 4th time I buy from here. I am really disappointed that they dont have ready available cakes that are not filled with 3 inches of cream topping. The fruit filling does not go all the way to the end and the white cream topping is so overbearing. It took so long to just wipe it off. The previous cake we got was a cheese cake chocolate moose. The cheese cake was so dense. The only cake that was really good was the raspberry chocolate cake.

We need a cake that has fake or imitation vanilla extract to be religious safe to eat it. We also need a cake that does not have this much sugar. We made a custom order cake this time but we really did not enjoy jt because we had to remove all the icing before eating it.

The icing went inside od the cake too. The fruit filling should go all the way to the end or seal it with cake.

For the money spent for 5 dollars of ingredients to spent $40+ on a cake this small and not organic is really a waste of money.

I remember 20 years ago. The cakes were completely different taste like my grandmother made them. Now it’s commercialized and the fillings come from an aluminum can and the cake has 6000 ingredients vs 3-10 ingredients at most.

The place looks beautiful and the staff are nice and friendly always. The place is very clean and they used their millions they made over the years to beautify the place.

They need to have basic cakes for 20-30 dollars 10 inch double layer no icing and real fruit fillings with no or low sugar and few ingredients.

Please direct me to those cakes Because asking the staff left them like a deer in headlights.

Good luck to you all. The masses are happy with the cakes and thats what important for the bottom line. To cater to a few with their dietary needs wont make you profits you need using real ingredients we understand.

God bless you all.

Beautiful wedding cake, and my family traveling from out-of-state was in awe of the “Wicked” event Nov. 2025. A bit pricier than our budget, but very easy to plan and order.

It’s a 15-minute drive from my home, and somehow, I was never here. I have been to this complex and tried other eateries around it, but I’m not sure why I have not tried this YET!

nevertheless, we were here… All of the homemade breads are dynamite. From the cookies to cannolis, an assortment of cookies, pies, cakes, custom cakes, jarred sauces, and homemade pasta, this place is a feast for the eye

We tried some chocolate cakes, cannolis, cheesecake, and Tres leches, and they had a great taste!

Known for its Italian and French bread, Calandra’s Bakery is a family-owned and operated business established in 1962

the second floor has dedicated space for cake testing too!
