Decided to try this place out. Food was delicious! We got the pulled pork nachos and the crazy bowl. Both delicious!!! For drinks we got the red sangria pitcher which was on sale! Super cheap for such a fruity drink!
Our waiter, Palmer was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend requesting him to be your server!

The food was okay beside the frys being cold and definitely can tell they dont change the grease. Along with the sandwich being burnt. The service here sucks. As we was leaving people standing at the door smoking and standing in people’s way. I will not be coming back to this place

We sat on the second floor at the bar-Frankie was great! While training another person she still paid attention to details of our service. We ordered the Cheeseburger with fries and Jalapeño Poppers! We played some tunes on the touch tunes and some sports on the TVs! Super close to the Interstate and right across the street from the Main entrance of Marshall University.

I’ve delayed sharing this. How was it? Well, it nearly was a Calamity! Service was really substandard; I suspect they may have been woefully understaffed. On the positive, their beer selection was very good, their potato chips are the best, and my Philly Cheese Steak sandwich was good. My partner had the meatball sandwich which was a mix … The meatballs were good, but for some reason, one meatball was inedible — had an odd moldy flavor to it. I wish I had more good to say.

No wait when we arrived and we were greeted immediately. We sat inside, but outside tables were available. The Housemade Chips are so very good. Hubby had the Clodhopper Meatball Sub and it was great portion size and he said it was tasty. Daughter had a Philly Steak and it had Spicy kick to it but not overwhelming. I had the Cheese Soup that I had heard so much about and it was not great. To me, it was like canned cheese soup with bacon bits, croutons and paprika on top. I will stick with the Pizza or Salad from now on when we get back there. Service was great and fast and friendly.

Absolutely loved the food up until the last few months or so . I believe tonight will be our last attempt. Ordered same thing as usual but it was all burnt from the chicken to the burger to the chips . Really disappointing since it used to be so good. Maybe they will get things straightened out but not sure they have anyone there that can actually get them back on the right track . This was a pick up order I so can’t comment as to service and atmosphere.

I’ve been going to calamity off and on for a few months and it feels like the food gets worse every time. The last time I went, our food was stale and a few people in my group got sick after. I returned recently thinking it was coincidence, but the chicken I ordered came out tasting and looking like off-colored pork. It was also cold. The rice, burrito and beans were lukewarm and looked like it had been sitting out for a while. We were the only people there at 8pm, so it was very strange. The server was very sweet and they didn’t have us pay for it. I would not go here though…

Decent food, but as a delivery driver this is by far the WORST location to be assigned orders from in the entire Tri-state. They mark every order compete the moment they get it to make their times look better, causing a driver to be dispatched to pick the order up before it’s even left the refrigerator. Out of more than 50 orders here, I have not had less than a 15 minute wait on one single occasion. I am yet to see them prepare ONE SINGLE ORDER within a reasonable time. This store by itself has DESTROYED both my on time rating, and my completion rate. Because when I arrive, and the store tells me it’ll be at least 30 minutes even though the ALREADY marked it complete and the order only pays 6$, I still get penalized for their poor performance. If you either deliver food or order online, this place is an absolute nightmare. Your food will be cold, and you will have an awful time getting a dasher willing to waste an hour or more for 1 single order. Do better guys, this is embarrassing.

Waitress did her best. 2 hours waiting for food. 2 of us didn’t get food, 1 was told after an hour they were out of what he ordered, 3 of us got food that was dry or rubbery. The only thing that was good was the appetizers. They need a new kitchen staff that cares about what the put out window.
