What can I say about Calaca Mamas Cantina. This place is new and across the street from the main entrance into Disneyland. We went around late lunch, early dinner. It took about 8 min to sit down (it was not busy) as customers were leaving they told us they are short staffed. We sat ourselves and within 5min. the waitress came and gave us menus and took our drink orders. It has a nice little vibe to it. They do offer chips and salsa (first one free) Our food was really good and I would give 4 stars for that. The price of things and the amount of food everybody has a different interpretation of what they would get. I personally would like to have seen a little more food for the price. What a gem of a restaurant. The staff is AWESOME. The food is excellent. My family was on our way back to the car from the NAMM show, and we literally stumbled across this place. Right away, the staff was warm, inviting, and was willing to take time and answer my wife’s questions. My wife has allergies to wheat and dairy, which makes it extremely difficult and risky when we do decide to venture out. The staff was so patient and understanding I can not convey how much we appreciated that because it meant her food did not make her sick. So a huge thank you! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Nice ambiance. Waited 20 minutes for a waiter or staff to acknowledge us. We saw many other tables be seated and get chips, salsa and drinks before we did. The odd thing is we were there when it was quite. They seemed to care more about cleaning than say hello. The manager passed by us many times and did not acknowledge us, but he had time to clean a table when there was no one waiting to be seated. They got our order completely wrong and didn’t offer to correct it. They forgot things we ordered. The food is bland and not very good. Possibly if you don’t know what good Mexican food tastes like this may be ok. This was a very disappointing experience. It’s a really nice ambiance but if you’re looking for good service, a good meal, Calaca Mamas is not the place.

Stopped here after an exhausting day at Disneyland. We decided to share nachos and they were delicious! The jalapenos are pickled but they are either pickled in house or they get them somewhere that isn’t your run of the mill grocery supplier, they were amazing! I only wished the radishes were pickled too! Highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat. If we had more time we definitely would have been back …next time! I gave four stars only because of the service. We sat in the bar and there was one bartender for the bar and the restaurant. She was being pulled in a million directions so drink refills were on the slow side.

We dined again at Calaca Mama’s Cantina. I’m determined to try everything off their menu. This time we had the Enchiladas Verde and Quesabirria tacos with consome on the side. Both dishes come with rice and beans. But for starters we had chips and salsa, which are on the house, then we ordered the Under the Sea Duo which is Aguas Chile’s and Ceviche and we also ordered the Flautas de Pollo, which if you have ever had this are a must to order everytime you go. I also had 2 of their signature cocktails.

Me and my boyfriend came to this restaurant and we absolutely loved the food, the service was amazing, and it is also in front of Disney. Such a cute restaurant with amazing decor. I ordered the Quesabirria, and my boyfriend ordered a chicken burrito and we both ordered two margaritas. We are definitely coming back for our next vacation

Awesome food! Well worth the higher price. Atmosphere was great. Mariachi band inside and we had the table outside with the fire in the middle. Can see Disneyland fireworks from the front patio. Must-eat place!

We were totally impressed by the food and vibe at Calaca Mamas. My kids can be picky eaters, but they loved their meals and actually asked for more. And the churro cart for dessert is an awesome way to finish off the night. Such a fun and flavorful place!
