Incredible New York style deli with an impressive array of food menus – hot breakfast and breakfast sandwiches, hot grill sandwiches, soups, subs, and more. Ordered three sandwiches. They were made quickly and all very good. The portions aren’t huge, but just right. The indoor seating area is small but there is outdoor seating that is open in warmer weather.

This wonderful deli has something for any appetite. I had the Black and Blue which is blackened Turkey on a croissant with lettuce, tomato, red onion and blue cheese sauce. It was generous and delicious.
I had a side of sweet potato waffle fries that came with cinnamon dip, yum. I appreciate that it was a modest amount of fries.
My husband had the Reuben which is one of the best he has had and he had had many. He got a side of tater tots. We will definitely make this a monthly or bi monthly stop.

I stopped by the Calabash Deli with a friend and her 8 year old daughter for some lunch to go . The daughter was a bit cranky and kept insisting she wanted her Stromboli uncooked and cold . We tried to explain that she would like it better hot . The gentleman taking our order (perhaps he was an owner?) was so very friendly and explained to the child that hot was better . He was so patient with her and kind !!! We placed our order and he went even further and offered a valentine cookie of her choice just for her , no charge . So so thoughtful! Or sandwiches and the Stromboli (hot) were outstanding ! I am new to the area and this man just made me a loyal customer ! If you want great food and amazing service , this is the place !

Outstanding New York style deli with tons of specials and desserts. A must go place when in Calabash. I’ve been eating here for over 5 years and never disappointed. Small seating area but also has covered outdoor seating as well. Even the soups are excellent without killing you with salt. Just like the meats and bread, high-quality food speaks for itself, and this place consistently delivers.

What a gem of a deli! There was a little bit of everything for everyone. You could hear the staff engage with the regular customers, it was quite charming and comical. Brought me back to my love for meats and salads as a child. They had my favorite stuffed cherry peppers! A nice little gem in Calabash NC is a place called Calabash deli. We stopped in and got some awesome subs and sandwiches and they were really great. Look at their online menu from their website to see all the good meals they serve. We have to go back before 11am as that’s when they stop serving breakfast. The breakfast menu looks delicious.

We are from New Jersey here for a funeral of our friend’s father. The Calabash Deli personnel who delivered the unbelievable spread of food were extremely friendly, personable and professional! The outstanding sandwiches, homemade potatoes salad and all the other items were excellent. All who attended commented on the delicious food. Well done and so appreciated by all!

This is one of our favorite places to visit when we are on the island! The sand wedge is so so so good. My husband has tried numerous sandwiches and enjoyed them all. My son had the grilled cheese sandwich and said it was one of the best he has ever had. It is small inside but they’ve got outdoor seating as well. Even when it’s busy, they do keep the line moving as much as they can! Definitely worth a visit and we miss the sandwiches when we are back at home!
