My wife, a friend and I tried this place tonight on a whim. Ita cozy little nook with a retro feeling decor. The owner, Evette/Yvette was a real sweet heart. Takes care of the guests. I ordered a Mimic Burger, with spicy guacamole on tostones buns– a Vegetarian or Vegan burger if you hold the cheese, and a strawberry shake. My wife ordered a Hass burge, stick potato, ginger ale and a canoli. Our friend ordered the Try-Fries a combination of sweet potato, curly and cheese fries and sweet barbecue wings. All the selections were very good choices. I will try the Chickenless Waffles next time.

First of all, the folks at Cake Burgers are just incredible, down to earth, real neighbors folks. I could sit in there and talk for hours, but then l’d be jobless. The food is amazing. Best burger I’ve had in a long time: cooked perfect, seasoned just right, absolutely top notch. My chocolate shake was everything I ever wished it could be.
Got that ’50s malt shop vibe going on. Love!!! l’ll be back!
By the way….the whole custom designer cakes and desserts is a whole other story…to be continued…

Had 2 wonderful experiences picking up takeout from here! The restaurant is a feast for the eyes, the people are real NYers and care so deeply about what they do & this city at large, and the food is everything you’d want from a burger joint. The fries make me so happy
I spoke to one of the owners and she let me know that Menuify takes around 43% from the restaurant, which is absolutely insane. PLEASE call in and place your orders with the actual restaurant, it would help them out a ton. They haven’t upped their prices since COVID and in order to keep it that way, we gotta look out for them

I’ve wanted to try this place out for a while and I’m glad I finally got the chance. This place is visually stimulating as there are so many cool items to draw your attention. The place has a cozy vibe and feels truly welcoming.
I ordered the plain cheeseburger, with sweet potato fries and the limeade. The food came out pretty quickly. The burger was delicious and flavorful. I absolutely loved the sweet potato fries! The limeade reminded me of the natural juice I would drink at home, sweet and tart.
The best part about my dining experience was getting the pleasure of meeting the owner Yvette. Yvette is a true character, who has lived in the neighborhood for many years and knows her stuff. She’s clearly passionate about the food and the community. She was able to give me great advice and information about work related issues. I’m looking forward to returning and trying out more of the menu.

Stopped here while on a trip to NYC from Vermont with my son, the lady serving us was amazing and funny. The burgers were amazing. Desserts even better. Definitely worth a try. We loved it.

The cakes were tempting but I couldn’t resist the burger and it was worth it, all I would possibly ask for in a burger, delicious from start to finish. I had the double American cheese burger. Honestly set a new standard for me. If I lived here I would become a regular for sure! Food made with passion and love is always the best!

A damn good burger! Seriously I’ve had a lot of burgers in my life and burgers happen to be my favorite food but this all American cheeseburger from @cake_burgers has to be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I mean from the top to the bottom the soft, perfectly toasted brioche bun, to the perfectly crisp and fresh lettuce and tomatoes and melty cheese, and their special burger sauce?! Whenever a restaurant has a special sauce I have to try it because I have high expectations and this one exceeded it. The grilled onions made it even better! The meat was perfectly cooked and so juicy. It was like my dream burger had finally come to fruition. I am also a big sweet potato fries lover and they make the PERFECT sweet potato fries, everything is balanced so nicely from seasoning to texture. It’s no surprise the chef has past experience working at Michelin star restaurants and even received compliments from THE Anthony Bourdain!!!! I can’t wait to come back and try their specialty cakes and other desserts! My new favorite burger joint
