They make very beautiful cakes and delicious too. They are in downtown Lakeland. If you need any special occasion, holiday,birthday and etc. they are definitely the place to go. Check out their cakes on their website. You won’t be disappointed. Today is Sunday Feb 23rd seen three bad reviews, About rude counter girl, store hours and such, this owner is going through a lot health issues in his family right now. Everyone there has been under stress so please refrain from the rude comments and be patient and understanding.

My husband and I stopped by today for a quick treat on my lunch break. Once we saw the shakes we knew we had to try it! We both got Freakshakes- he got the Nutella and I got the Unicorn! So beautiful and delicious! We have a new favorite dessert place!

I reached out on a Lakeland Facebook group looking for recommendations for great red velvet cupcakes. I was referred to come here. Even though when I walked in the vibe was off and it was super dark and gloomy inside. I came here with my daughter but she was soo excited. I asked the gentleman what does he recommend out of the selection of cupcakes. He responded they are all good. I asked what is one of the top sellers for the cupcakes. He says, they all sell. Then I understood he was not in the mood or just not having a good day. I got the red velvet cupcake, strawberry cupcake, and 2 ice cream cones for me and my child. Cupcakes were 6/10 nothing more special that buying the box cupcakes from your local grocery store. I was disappointed for sure. Publix vanilla cupcakes are much better. I was looking for something special. I speficially have a cupcake lady who makes amazing cupcakes from scratch but she is 3 hours away. I will definitely be taking the trip since I have yet to find anything that wows me. I got the superman ice cream cone and it was also not that great. I handed my daughters cone back to him and asked for rainbow sprinkles he instead grabbed a small container and put the sprinkles in there and then handed me the container. This was not customer service to me. For reference the superman ice-cream from Lakeland Ice cream company is AMAZING!!!!! I was under the impression they were the same but nope!!! They are not!!! Overall the experience was not what I was looking forward to since this place was recommended. At least now I know if I’m in the area I would rather walk around the street to palace pizza and get their cupcakes there.

We had a great experience from the tasting months before to actually cutting and eating our cake on wedding day. Not only did Cake Makers make our dream wedding wedding cake with the gold foil but it was seamlessly delivered with no issues. I love a good bakery and everything they make here is delicious! Next time we are in Lakeland I will be back for a bakery treat!

MY DREAM WEDDING CAKE!
We wanted a New York/Italian Style Wedding cake and Cake Makers did JUST THAT! Each floor was a different flavor and filling. Our guests STILL rave about how fabulous our cake was and HOW DELICIOUS it was!
Delivery and set up was Top Tier
Decoration was so detailed and exceeded the expectations that we had from the inspiration picture we showed them. The consult was so thorough and we planned down to the height of each layer and height of the cake.

Oh Wow ! This place is Heaven, when you get in this place the smell is amazing, the Ice Cream is mouth watering. They have a variety of things in there, if you are a Healthy person they have veggie and fruit smoothies. I highly recommend this place for Wedding and Quinceañera Cakes.

Stopped in for an ice cream and to use the Restroom. While I’m in the restroom I received a phone call from the wife explaining to me that we will not be purchasing ice cream from them after observing her mother in law receiving improper Hospitality by the lady hired to work behind the counter. The demeanor and obvious attitude of not wanting to be there was not welcoming. We love to support our local business but unfortunately this one hired the wrong person to represent the establishment this early afternoon. We will come back another time and try again. Too bad, I really was looking forward to trying the Kahlua Almond Fudge . We will try again another time, maybe. On a side note, the the restroom facility was nice and clean. Also the cakes on display behind the counter where fantastically done. Very cool.
