It’s always a gamble trying to find a great place to dine when traveling. And when you travel for a living, finding a great place to dine is *the best*. I definitely hit a home run stumbling upon Cake Batter Batter. My favs? The breakfast scramble, burrito, and taco. But don’t sleep on that light and delicious blueberry scone. Grab couple cookies while you’re at it and if you’re hungry for lunch, a baked potato is probably in order. A root beer float? No regrets here. But hurry. Cause they’re only open until two. Tomorrow I think I’ll try the taco salad I heard someone order while I was in for my second time today. The only thing better than the food. . . the service. The lovely owner and her staff couldn’t be more delightful and welcoming and clearly keep the people coming back. I love this place and I can’t wait to be back in Eureka to visit!

First time here and definitely will come back when in the area. Pleasantly surprised by the selection (I’d thoight it was just baked goods, turns out they have a revolving food menu too). Everything was very good and the girl at the register was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Where can you find sandwiches made with homemade bread??? Here! At the Cake Batter Batter. And homemade cookies, and scones… Absolutely delicious!!! Deanna Jensen, the proud owner of this AMAZING cafe/bakery, is an amazing person, and she is the kindest, most generous person we have encountered on our Transamerica Bike Touring trip.

I got a cheesecake for my boyfriend for his birthday. The staff was very nice and the prices were reasonable. The cheesecake was really yummy. Fresh strawberries and not overcooked. Would definitely go back.
I wanted to update my review nearly 2 years later. I ordered a key lime cheesecake for my birthday. Boy howdy was it good! She said she never made one, but I could tell a lot of research went into this. Reminiscent of a NC lemon pie (my home state) this really was an amazing birthday gift. Thank you so so much. Amazing texture, perfectly set, no browning, enough SALT in the crust to be perfect! Winner winner. My only complaint, which is super minor and finicky is that the box wasn’t very sturdy, I wish there was a cake round under it. I could see someone destroying the whole thing if they didn’t know exactly how to open a pastry box.

I’ve been to Cake Batter Batter several times and have tried the breakfast, lunch, and the delicious desserts!!! My favorite breakfast item by far is “The Bomb”!!! If you are looking for a small town place to eat with an amazing atmosphere and super friendly folks and awesome food… Cake Batter Batter is your place! Enjoy!!!!

The food was amazing. I had the California wrap. The ingredients were fresh. They had many choices for sides but if you like homemade cucumber/onions it’s a must. I had the lemonade tart for desert and it was probably one of the best tarts I’ve ever had. Definitely worth a stop for breakfast/lunch and many choices of sweet treats.

Stopped in to eat. This was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while, and it was made fast and definitely with care! The service was great! They checked on us multiple times to see if we were okay. I will definitely be back.
