Went for breakfast. No complaints.
Seated right away. Attentive staff. Hearty food.
I wouldn’t be able to say how authentic the food is, but I enjoyed it and there was more than enough of it.

The staff was extremely friendly. I wasn’t overly impressed with the food. We tried a bit of everything and it was all bland. I’m from Southeast Louisiana and this place wouldn’t last a month in the South. The beignets tasted like they are fried in the same grease as the fries. The biscuits and cornbread are large and flavorless. The red beans and rice had a weird silver coating on them. The crawfish etoufee has tomato base flavor to it instead of a roux. The blueberry pancakes were mid as were the andouille and eggs. My kids said the chicken tenders and burger was okay but it’s tenders and burgers. Hard to mess that up. The only thing that’s enjoyable are the curly fries, which tastes just like Jack in the Box, so there’s that. I wasted roughly $120 here. The diner had a funky musty, moth ball smell that I attribute to rainy weather but no other restaurant has that smell right now with all the rain. If you hadn’t ever in your life had food from Louisiana, I’m assuming you will love this place BUT if you have had good Louisiana cooking, save yourself the heartache and frustration.

I had country fried steak, wife had biscuits and gravy, girls had the stuffed waffle special. Atmosphere is very clean and family friendly. Has an old school diner feeling, only issue was the hush puppies we order were delicious but a few were hard, couldn’t even cut them with a fork; but the ones that were soft were delicious. I would still go back, I’m sure that was just rare couple of bad hush puppies. Biscuits and corn definitely tasted homemade.

I ordered a sandwich for lunch for take out.
The GRILLED PASTRAMI SANDWICH tasted great and was a decent size with plenty of meat. The temperature was still decent driving a few blocks back to the hotel. The french fries were large cut and tasted fine.
I hear from coworkers this is an awesome breakfast location. I haven’t had a chance to try that yet. I would come back and explore their menu.
I knocked Cajun one star because the prices I found were not indicative of actual prices. I know prices change, but the price increase was substantial.

We had a great food! The omelet are delicious, the Jambalaya breakfast is a delicious soup . They also have a in-house homemade salsa, that was a super plus for me because I love spiciness

They do they serve delicious Homestyle breakfasts, with a few Cajun influences. The bacon was cooked flawlessly as where my eggs right down to the side of toast, perfect. The staff was awesome, and never let my coffee cup go cold or empty.

The açaí bowl was fresh. I never finished my coffee because the staff was refilling the coffee. The Cajun pizza was awesome.

We came to Lompoc to watch Landsat 9 launch and grabbed breakfast at Cajun Kitchen. The food was excellent, place as clean as a whistle, and we had great service. I had the Cajun scramble and it was so delicious. Bonus for all the sauces and seasonings on the table!
