Cajun King is Hawaii’s best source for delicious and authentic Cajun food. We opened in the Waimalu Shopping Center in Aiea, HI, in June 2013 and have been a local favorite ever since. By using fresh and flavorful ingredients cooked to perfection, we have been able to create a unique fusion between the island flavors of Hawaii and the trademark spices of Cajun cuisine. Not only is our food tasty every time, but we are the most affordable Cajun and seafood boil restaurant on the island.

Me and my girlfriend came here on a Friday night; it wasn’t too busy, and we were seated right away. We ordered the Snow Crab Combo #4 with the Cajun and Garlic Butter sauce (mild), and extra side scoop of rice. The food was seasoned perfectly, and they give you plenty of sauce at the bottom to soak your rice with.
I’ve been here multiple times, and the food and service never fail to satisfy. If you want a well priced seafood boil that won’t break the bank and comes with great service, this is the spot. Plus, we always leave with leftovers

On the weekend packed but weekdays not as bad! Food is sooo good we come here only on payday weeks and I will say soo worth the price you pay. Fresh food flavor on point I look forward to one of us saying seafood night lol. We have 2 kids and they share a popcorn chicken basket its so much chicken and fries and with our oldest he can even share some of my bag if he’s feeling seafood.

We are regulars here at this restaurant. We’ve been to other places that serve the same kind of foods but we prefer Cajun King in Waimalu. Their sausage is like the best tasting and their fries are so tasty and crispy crunchy and their chicken wings is so good

Popular local place that has spicy Asian American seafood boils from no spice to very spicy. I see a separate dining are full of cardboard boxes that’s a little off putting, but the food is good. I really enjoy the crawfish.

I come here often, but this is the first time they actually messed up my order.
I ordered a king crab combo garlic butter no spice, but it was cajun butter mild spice. And they forgot the rice..
I’m a bit disappointed because they weren’t busy and they still made a mistake with my order.
The girl who took my order though, she was awesome, super high energy and friendly.
I’ve haven’t ordered the catfish in a long time, but I don’t recall it being made this way, the batter was soft on the inside, not sure how it was supposed to be though. Tasted good otherwise. Cajun fries are a little spicy, so if you can’t handle any spice, do not order it.
Hope they don’t make a mistake next time. ☹️

Good choices of Various Seafood. From Dungeoness Crab to King Crab to Snow Crab & Lobster w/some corn, potatoes, crawfish, mussels, oysters, etc… It was Good & Very filling. If U looking for a good mix of Seafood Variety, this is a Good choice. Nice & Friendly Servers & Unlimited soft drinks… I Enjoyed my Experience here.

Great great food! Fresh and delicious. Went twice in one week because we loved it so much. We ordered the #4 combo with snow crab and it was plenty to fill the belly’s of myself, my wife, and our 3 yr old. Cajun spice was amazing. The price is a little higher so expect that when coming. But if you are a seafood Boil fanatic you must try this spot.

So, I lived in Maryland for a while, and occasionally I get a craving for crabs, shrimp, etc. I heard about this place a while back and had completely forgotten about it. Today, when that craving kicked in again, I remembered that I wanted to try this joint.
It was the best food decision we’ve made in a while.
First, the staff was super friendly and helpful.
We asked a couple of questions to get a feel of what we wanted.
My husband and I split the King Crab Combo, and we got a pound of shrimp for the kids as well. One of my sons also got the chicken wing basket. We got the cajun and garlic butter seasoning on everything.
It was AMAZING!
It reminded me of Maryland.
We will definitely be returning.

I loved the food here! Servers were polite and helpful! Tables spaced out nicely to protect their customers. Flavors were awesome! We tried the Cajun and butter, garlic! Cheap beer, too!

Found our new Seafood Spot!!! Was craving snow crab and this definitely delivered.
Our order:
We got the Cajun & Garlic Butter mild Snow crab combo mix and added another pound of snow crab. Also some onion rings (taste is delicious) and garlic green beans (taste is good, but won’t order it again, our personal preference) we got 2 bowls of rice when we only needed one. (One bowl comes with the combo, for 2 people just stick with one bowl)
Staff was friendly and reactive to the customers needs and requests
The ambiance is well lit and clean, a bit chilly where I was sitting but overall ok
Price was around $100 just for us, but definitely could have left with a decent check without the sides.
