Apparently, Cajin Creations doesn’t like orders for the delivery services. I also had a similar experience. I have ordered here several times, but noticed a severe decline in how the food came. I always choose priority delivery, so that isn’t the issue. This past weekend, I ordered $76 worth, including the tip. I ordered the med catfish platter, the hungry cajun, and a bowl of gumbo. What arrived was $28 worth. What I received was the Captain’s combo and a cup of gumbo. They initially charged me $76, and then sent out the wrong order. Uber Eats refunded $61 towards my charge. I am happy with that, but Cajun Creations needs to do better or close its doors. It isn’t rocket science.

I ordered through UberEats today and was very disappointed. I got the Lunch on the Bayou with a side of red beans and rice, boudin balls, and a cup of gumbo. Everything was overwhelmingly bland. Say it with me guys, “Salt!” The red beans and rice have a scorched flavor. The gumbo literally had no flavor. The fry on the fish was good, but still really bland. The hushpuppies tasted more like raw flour. Seriously, EVERYTHING needs more seasoning. I really wanted to like this place because it all LOOKED good, but the best thing I had was the orange sauce and tarter sauce served on the side. It’s possible today just wasn’t a good day, but based on my experience today, I can’t recommend this place.

If I could give zero stars I would and I usually do not do this, but we order almost $60 worth of food on doordash which was Large and Medium Catfish plates with beignets and we only received the beignets with a full receipt for our order staple to the little small bag that I thought some how all of our food could potentially fit in. This was my first time ordering and it’s the last. That is just unacceptable to play with people’s money and not even put the food in the bag that we ordered. Unacceptable and I really do not leave reviews unless I am very disappointed and at the point where I do not want this to happen to anyone else. Not saying this restaurant is bad with it being I did not even get a chance to taste the food, but it’s just not right.
