If you like New Orleans style seafood, this is the place for you. I lived in New Orleans for 10 years. This reminds me of some hole in the wall place off of Carondelet that really has good food. Boiled and fried shrimp, boiled crawfish, Catfish, hush puppies, and crab legs. All taste delicious. About 4 miles north of chunky Mississippi on I 20. Really good food. Now this is a trailer that has been expanded to seat probably about 100. It’s not fine dining, but the dining is fine.

I have been twice in the last two weeks. The seafood sampler is really good. I’ve added some more pictures. During the month of May, they will only be open for to go orders of boiled or frozen shrimp, or boiled or fresh crawfish. Call to order in advance. They will be open Friday and Saturday for pick up.

When they’re in season and open, this place stays PACKED!! The best around! I live close by and I’ve seen it where cars are lined up trying to get in and get a parking spot. You can order to go or dine in. It’s definitely worth the drive!

I loved the gumbo and the potato salad was uniquely Cajun and delicious. The family atmosphere, their kindness and generous welcoming enthusiasm is rare these days. I highly recommend this food and this family. Don’t miss out.

Cant stay away. The best & I mean best sea food around & crawdads are seasoned to perfection. Deserts are really good. Stafe is very efficient and very friendly. Salad bar is always fresh. Highly recommend ordering your crawdads early or you might not get any! Family friendly & handicap accessible. Only opened seasonally.

They are only open for a few months a year, making their food very desirable, however they allow people to preorder Crawfish and Crablegs WEEKS in advance.
Because of this, you will often arrive at their location and be turned away, because all they’ll be serving is boiled shrimp.
This happened to me twice, with them explaining people were already calling in to order FOR A WEEK LATER.
They will not get my business again.

Reserved a sack of live crawfish Saturday morning. Easy pickup transaction. Best part is that I had to transport the crawfish all the way up to SC for family om Sunday. None were dead. Incredible! My go to place for crawfish from now on.

The staff at Cajun Cooking is so friendly and they have the BEST crawfish. Comes with sausage, corn, and potatoes. Just make sure to call and order in advance. Before you leave, try the desserts. The Apple Dumpling with ice cream is my favorite.
