Please Windex both entrance door windows cause it would really help the curb appeal that Your customers relate to from a clean entrance at home. This is not a Cajun food place. It says it on the sign, but the food is a mix of Chinese and American with cajon spices thrown on top.
The food is awesome and the service is great. This is the only place I have ever been where you can get a pow boy, BBQ wings, Cajun fries, fried wontons, shrimp, eggrolls, friend chicken and hamburgers all in the same place.
If you are in the mood to try a bunch of things, check this place out.

In Orange, Texas Cajun 88 is about the best fried chicken in the city. Mind you there is no Churches, Popeyes and Golden Chick and Kentucky are THE WORST! SO if you want a fresh fried on the spot fried chicken Cajun 88 is the BEST!

Whatever you order will be delicious. Love the fried chicken – spicy style. Big piece s too. Chicken strips big too. I don’t believe I’ve seen chicken strips this size at any other fast food place. Fish and shrimp fried to perfection. Must try onion rings. Fabulous.

We went in Lil past 8pm 8/29/25. Doors were propped open- the AC wasn’t working. Ordered shrimp dinner as was Friday’s special. Would’ve ate inside but was cooler outside. The inside looks like did do much remodel from old Jack in the Box. Got in car to eat and shrimp was not good, took in to ask for refund. Lady said no refund then pointed at side door (same door we had gone in and out)and said there’s a sign that says no refund. I double checked, the only two signs were list of cards accepted and temporary sign saying they’d be closed Monday 9/1/25 and reopen Tuesday 9/2. I have picture of door lady pointed at saying sign said No Refunds, to prove no such sign exists. Will NOT be going back. Waste of $35

At first when I walked in there I couldn’t figure out whether it was an old Wendy’s or Taco Bell. But then I saw that front window and knew exactly that was old Dave daughter wendy. Now after I got past that ADHD moment I went to the register asked the worker what they thought was the best. They look at me as to say no one’s ever asked me that gave me their choice and I ordered exactly that which surprised the hell out of them. The food was amazing not a bad thing in the five different things that I ordered. So if you want good food at a decent price ask the cashier what they would order and give yourself a surprise. Foods amazing give up the good work guys I’ll be back

My bf likes this place because the fried chicken is hot and well prepared. I think the place smells weird and the bathroom is gross. The crab Rangoon were greasy and chewy. The red beans and rice were decent. The fish tasted like it was cooked in old oil. I, personally, won’t go back.
