Michelin 1-star for 4 consecutive years. An absolutely flawless experience at Cail Bruich. What stands out most is the incredible balance of flavors in every single dish including the dessert —nothing is out of place, and the seasoning is spot on.
The sequence of the tasting menu is masterfully planned; the progression felt natural and kept us excited for the next plate without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Top tip: If they offer the extra caviar, get it. It added a brilliant depth of flavor and a salty pop that perfectly elevated the dish. Lorna McNee and the team are operating at the top of their game. Easily one of the best meals in Glasgow, if not the UK. Highly recommended for a special occasion!

My best dining experience in Glasgow. The restaurant is intimate at around 30 covers yet never feels crowded as there’s plenty of distance between tables and the design of the room means tables have only oblique views of other diners. We were there between Christmas and New Year so it was a “festive menu” done brilliantly, each of the seven or so courses small and delicious. The staff deserve a special mention for their knowledge and lightness of touch. A wonderful experience.

Exquisite dinner! We walked into an amazing dining experience last night. It was a stunning art gallery of seven dishes beautifully displayed and choreographed perfectly to each table. Each dish was cooked and decorated to perfection. Great teamwork displayed between the kitchen and staff too! We were able to savor each dish with time before we moved onto the next dish. Service was outstanding too.

This is an exceptional restaurant, where we had the most memorable meal that we have ever had. We were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful evening and felt very warmly welcomed by staff. All the service was highly professional. Every course of the dinner menu was exquisite (7 courses + snacks + extra sweets). This menu is expensive but well worth the money. The fish courses were our favourites. I could not quite eat all of the sweet items at the end; I think perhaps it was because of the richness of the previous courses. But each one was exciting and delicious. The drinks mark-up is high but the wine is excellent. So it was a thoroughly delightful evening and we will certainly come again for another special occasion. Thank you.
