We decided to try a new place and take the hour drive to check this place out and were not disappointed. The guacamole was fantastic, fresh and flavorful, I have to admit we ordered a second bowl of it along with the Tres Leche cake… LOL why wait for dessert until the end! That was AMAZING! Homemade empanadas were very tasty and came with a very fresh tomato salsa underneath. The drinks were good, nothing over the top, the Brussel sprouts had a nice char and not too much blue cheese, the fettuccini alfredo our friends said was in their top three they ever had, the boys had the two different kinds of steak and said it was good, and I had the shrimp and polenta. It had a sweet mango sauce that was surprisingly good, and plenty of shrimp. We had each of the desserts on the menu to taste, the one I mentioned before and the creme Brule were the favorites, then came the chocolate torte, and then the coffee flan. It fell a little flat in the taste category, but not enough to put a ding in the rating. We would definitely come back again and try the burgers and the outside area once it gets nice outside. Nicole our waitress was the only one on staff that day, but it wasn’t busy at all. Which is crazy, it is sooooo good and were surprised to find out it is a family run business connected to others in Edina, and I can’t remember if it was Blooming Prairie or another place. If you are reading this, don’t hesitate, go and eat there. Get the quac and those hot chips they are very very very good!! We will be back!!! Thanks for a nice little surprise!

Try! It’s worth it! Kenyon is blessed to have this gem! We drove from Kasson to try the food. My husband said the shark drink was great. I had the strawberry margarita and it was fantastic. My husband had a gluten allergy and had several apps that didn’t disappoint. Definitely try the calamari! We will definitely be back!!! Support these local gems! Go outside of the day to day norm!!!

Very clean and welcoming family-owned restaurant. We were passing through on our way to Faribault and are happy that we decided to stop here. Had ordered Calamari, Walleye and Carne Asada – all were fantastic and made with care. Our server was very attentive and timely. Kenyon is lucky to have such a high quality restaurant.

This is not the usual small town diner, not with offerings such as lobster pasta and seared salmon. The menu is a mix of Latin American classics (empanadas, carne asada) with Uptown bistro (sauteed Brussel sprouts, shrimp and polenta).
I enjoyed the Pernil Sandwich, juicy pork shoulder with caramelized onions and avocado. It was excellent except for the chunk of fat that always detracts from the experience.
The restaurant layout has a front section that has tables, high tops, and a bar. It’s clean and stylish but not the most comfortable for many patrons who did not want to sit at high tops or bar stools. The back section looked to have booths but was not open in the early dinner hour. Service was friendly and attentive.

Wow! For a tiny little town, this place was amazing! I walked in and thought oh no can we afford this for lunch? Come to find the prices were very fair and very average, but the atmosphere felt like it should be $45-$50 per plate. A $15 hamburger is pretty normal, and my fish sandwich was spectacular, everything serve served in a high class manner.
I am happy to give this restaurant high ratings because of how stunned I was.

Good margs, delicious food. Guacamole as an appetizer, fresh and great flavor. 12/10. Tacos De Carne (beef), light, tender, good flavor. Side salad, tasty. Not just iceberg lettuce. 10/10. Shrimp tacos, homemade sauce, fresh tomato and pineapple salsa. 12/10.

Excellent! We asked them to pick our Menu and got Empanada appetizers, Lamb Entree, and Tres Leches cake. All were amazing!!! I had never had lamb but recommend trying it, it was seasoned perfectly and the chimichurri sauce is to die for. Don’t miss the Tres Leches cake.
