Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. Ample amount of choices including “healthier” choices for meals. Portion sizes large as well. Enjoyed the harvest summer style salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was seasoned perfectly with healthy sized tenders. Will be back for sure

Good food, fast service, friendly atmosphere. Nice local restaurant.
Locally owned restaurant with good food and friendly staff. There are a lot of locals there. I saw multiple hello and goodbye hugs between staff and customers. It’s very clear that the people know each other and like each other! If they don’t like each other they hide it very well!
I was seated immediately and the waitress brought me a beverage in a couple of minutes. I placed my order and had my food in a few more minutes. Even though the place was crowded the service was super fast.
There are both table and booths for seating inside and a covered outdoor seating area with several tables.
The food is standard diner fare but with a lot of variety and some extras like Greek food and pizza. I didn’t try those I went with a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. Both were very tasty and hot.
I call this a comfort food place. It’s not fancy but it’s comfortable and clean. Lots of families, both older and younger. Lots of socializing going on but it wasn’t too loud.
The owner or manager was behind the register and was greeting everyone and thanking them profusely. I love supporting local businesses and this was a pleasant and fulfilling way to do that.
It’s only a couple of minutes off the interstate and it has plenty of parking. Try something different. Take a chance! Support a local business. And get a good meal at the same time!

The food is delicious and the variety of food is great! There was a whole glass display case with some scrumptious looking cakes that I did not partake in, but YUM!!! I will have to go back and try them out!

Cagney’s is your food you would expect from small town restaurant. This restaurant is small chain in several local cities. The food is good and hadn’t been disappointed. The amount or quality lacks ever so often but that’s expected as many places these days. The staff is attentive mostly unless it’s super busy then it lacks some as other restaurants do. The checking out process can be streamlined for sure due to 1 register, 1 line and 1 cashier can’t take time to leave the restaurant. We spent more time waiting I think checking out than eating our food today. Parking is adequate. It’s a good stop in for non fast and is close to the interstate. Just don’t be in a rush and traveling needing a little down time instead of a hurry.

Had the flounder had a funny taste hush puppies were old salad was like grass clippings. I will try and avoid this place if possible. Gave them 2 stars because,they kept our drinks full.My better half had the marinated chicken that was so dry I spit it out.

Ordered popcorn shrimp and it was awful. The hush puppies were hard as a brick and $7 for a piece of pineapple cake that had cool whip icing is outrageous. Never again!

Sort of what we expected. Not a gourmet restaurant but good basic food better presented than many places. Fast and friendly service. I’m not in good enough with fair price for the quantity and quality of food. Clean and comfortable with extensive menu.

Took more than 15minutes to get someone to come to table to get drink order.
Was not busy!
Then another 18 minutes to get 3 cups of chocolate milk and 1 cup of ice.
We ordered and 2 orders of 3 pancakes, 2 over easy eggs with bacon and grits with toast and a waffle. Which took about 20minutes to reach our table.
The food was great except for the grits. The waffle and pancakes were so fluffy and perfect.
Our waitress never came back after she delivered the food had to ask another that was walking by for help which she did not acknowledge our request but did send original waitress back to table.
If you go get the pancakes and or waffles you will be glad you did
