Well it started when I asked for a scotch didn’t come back much in the glass when I said something to the waiter he said oh they ran out did I get a half price for it no. Got eggplant which was pretty good the sauce I’m not crazy about I also got shrimp with the fettuccine and a Red gravy. Well the gravy was Tangy and bitter. The shrimp was medium to large and they gave you a good portion.

Great place for nice Italian food, one of the best I have been too. Not a very large restaurant but very comfortable and not overcrowded. Service staff was outstanding. Definitely going back with friends again.

The food and service were exceptional and we will definitely go back. The shrimp appetizer was amazing, the salads were huge (enough for 2 meals) and the entrées did not disappoint. I forgot to ask if the rotini was hand-made, it was a different and excellent texture. We were there at opening at 4pm and the many regulars at the bar were clearly having a good time, which was nice, but at times the volume was so loud that it was difficult to talk even though we were at the other end of the restaurant. The room, while very pleasant, was very bright, sound-wise. We will probably try closer to 5 the next time (we eat early).

Having lived in Wakefield for years I had never been to this restaurant. Visiting back here in the area I decided to have dinner with my son and his wife. It was the best dinner we had in a long time. I will aways come back every time I’m in the area.

Visited Caffe Italia with friends that frequent the restaurant. Greeted by a smiling and friendly host. Vinny was our waiter host was friendly and helpful, while letting our party have time to socialize. We had a fantastic scallop appetizer, the amaretto sauce was outstanding. I had the tuna and my wife had the halibut special, both we excellent.
