Amazing Italian food and great service. We had the octopus salad and pasta, everything was fresh, well-balanced and beautifully presented. The burrata was especially good and the wine selection was excellent. Cozy atmosphere and attentive staff. Definitely coming back!

Had dinner here with a friend last night and really enjoyed our Mediterranean salad, mussels, and linguine with clams. I am gluten-free, so they made my linguine as a gluten-free penne pasta. The service was excellent, but the space is very tight. Seems like the tables are actually too small. Also, there was a table of people that was sat right up under our elbow that cursed the entire time which made it somewhat unpleasant. The price point was a bit higher than you might expect. We paid $164 before tip for two people to have dinner with one glass of wine each.

Was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I have never experienced hospitality the way they provide here. Our server, Marciano was fantastic and made sure we were catered to. The owner I believe is so sweet and we definitely felt at home in this restaurant. The food was delicious! I got the prosciutto wrapped scallops and they were cooked perfectly. They accommodated my allergy well and made sure my meal was still top tier although I needed substitutions. The actual space is incredibly cozy, and you truly feel like you’re going over to a loved ones for food. Highly recommend if you’re traveling or even from NYC. Next time Im in NYC I will 100% be returning!

Loved the food here. The place is a bit cramped, a real hole-in-the wall. A hidden gem. It’s great, pasta tender and delicious. Staff were very friendly and the owner gave a familial, kind feeling. Worth the somewhat expensive price.

WOW!!! I’m sad we haven’t come here sooner. Definitely my favorite Italian in the neighborhood so far! Food was amazing and service was exceptional. The owner was so kind and generous, and made great recommendations for dishes to try, we loved everything that we had. This will be an UES staple for us and can’t wait to go back!

The sergeant at NYPD 19th Precinct said this is one of the best Italian places locally so when my wife said she wanted spaghetti sauce and meatballs I figured let’s give them a try.
We walked a few blocks to get and waited for the order to be prepared. The decor was basic, the waiter was quick and attentive. But the food is the main focus and unfortunately it was a mistake. My wife who ate the meal said this was almost like a microwave bowl of chef boyardee. Nothing like what you would expect from a nice Italian restaurant in midtown Manhattan.
The captain might be capping and the chef is slacking.

Truly an authentic New York experience. The owner treats you like family from the moment you walk in the door. He treated us to a tasting menu and kept the wine flowing on our girls trip. A great way to end out a weekend with life long friends, and the food was authentic Italian with great flavors and reasonable prices. Thank you !!! We can’t wait to come back!

From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, with warm lighting and tasteful decor that invites you to linger. The staff were attentive without being intrusive—genuinely welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do.
Now, the food? Simply outstanding. Every dish was a celebration of flavor and freshness. perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated, and bursting with character. Even the sides and sauces felt thoughtfully crafted, elevating the entire experience.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is its attention to detail. From the curated wine list to the impeccable timing between courses, everything felt seamless. It’s rare to find a place that nails atmosphere, service, and cuisine with such finesse.
Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just craving something extraordinary, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit.

Food was solid, but honestly for the price you can go to another Italian restaurant that’s more put together. My issue is with the service. They were were incredibly impatient and we felt like we were rushed. The waiter came 3 times in a 10 minute period to take our order. After we got our food we felt rushed to eat and leave. Also it’s cramped even by NYC standards. If you want a nice chill or romantic place, this definitely isn’t it. I feel like it’s better for a quick lunch.
