This cute little cafe was so warm and comfortable. We sat in a cute corner with soft sweet decor and beautiful natural light. The service was wonderful, and the staff were very kind and helpful with the menu. The food was well-balanced and well-prepared. 10/10 loved it here and will be back.

Really good little restaurant with a very unique menu and atmosphere. We were out walking Girard St eat and decided to check out this place. The food was very good, really unique and a very interesting fusion of different styles. The coffee drinks were really good and the smoothies were quite excellent. I highly recommend stopping in and trying this place out if you’re in the area.

I know Cafetomas from the Kenner location, so I was glad to find this in Mandeville near the St Tammany Trace bicycle trail. It’s a bright homey place. The food is interesting, delicious, and inexpensive as well. And the mangoneada smoothie is unlike any i’ve had elsewhere. I was surprised the restaurant wasn’t packed, it’s a true gem.

We originally planned to go to another popular spot but with a 30 min wait we decided to go somewhere else
We were so happy we changed our plans! Cafetomas was so cute, service and food were both excellent and they were very accommodating to my moms food allergies
We were the only patrons for quite some time and I couldn’t believe there was a crowd of people waiting half an hour while this gem was sitting empty down the street!

I absolutely love this hidden little gem in Old Mandeville. The food is so fresh and delicious. I’m slowly working my way through the menu and have not found one thing I don’t like. The flautas and chai latte are currently at the top of my list. And the owner is wonderful.

The food is so good! All made from scratch. The service and ambiance are spot on. They have nice coffee and fruit smoothie drinks in addition to Arepas, Flautas, Tacos and other tasty options. I will be back to work my way through the menu. Loved it.

This restaurant has Colombian/American breakfast and lunch menu and I really like it better than when it was Hambone. (Previous restaurant) my breakfast burrito had lots of sautéed veggies which I love! Definitely coming back to try other items!

The Arepa is flavorful, not too heavy with the salad side. The sauce was so good! I wish I could have mooooore. Very good handheld food.
The Jibarito has very good! The toston was crunchy and thin. You can hear them freshly smash them, which is a good sound to hear when it comes to tostones! The steak/beef was well seasoned.
The latte is so good! Frothy, not burnt, not too hot. Lovely! Its a solid latte.

We are very lucky to have so many great restaurants in old Mandeville that are within walking distance and now we have another one- Cafetomas! It’s a new Latin place where Hambone used to be. Today we tried the breakfast and everything was fantastic! We had the breakfast arepa with shredded beef and chilaquiles with shredded chicken. Just ask about breakfast options because it wasn’t on the regular menu. Their coffees and smoothies are excellent. They even make a very good Cuban coffee. It’s not a big menu but I am ok with a small menu that is done really well. They even gave Josie a pup cup! Go check them out.
