Wow! Hidden gem, right off the river trail. Made in house Mexican baked goods, tamales, empanadas. Authentic and tasty! Come give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Note, they have Mexican coffee that is really good, but no espresso drinks.

I love the pan dulce — they make it fresh every day! They also try new varieties from time to time, which I really enjoy. My mom is a big fan of the Hojaldra Guava Cream Cheese, and I always get her one each time I go. I love all the conchas, the cafecito, and the tamales. I also tried the aguas frescas, and they were a big hit with my family! Refreshing, not overly sweet, and very natural. My favorite tamal is the tamal de elote — it reminded me of the ones my aunt makes in Mexico. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent bakery with a distinct Mexican flare. Leans toward the sweet side of things, in a delightful way. Even the Mexican Mocha had a little extra cocoa punch. Off the beaten path, with a sparse seating area (the location is foremost an actual kitchen for a variety of restaurants), but worth a visit for a slightly different spin on breakfast.

A total gem! It is a little hidden away, but once you’re inside you are transported into a little Mexican bakery and coffee shop. The cafe de olla was delicious and honestly don’t even need added sugar. The different types of concha’s were delish, and the tamales were moist and probably the best I’ve had in the area. Highly recommend!

I didn’t know what I was missing until I tried one of the authentic Mexican conchas. They are a soft fluffy bun with a soft sugar cookie crust topping! They are so good, my son is requesting I try one of their filled ones next time.

We also like the cream filled brioche donuts. They come in a variety of creams from caramel, strawberry, raspberry, lemon blueberry and Nutella. They remind me of the malasadas we tried on our trip to Hawaii.

They offer a variety of delicious baked goods at the local farmers market pop ups. What we have tried so far has been excellent.

We have yet to visit the store front in Redmond, WA. It’s summer time and they have a regular pop up tent at several local farmers markets. We go to the Renton Farmers Market on Tuesdays from 3pm-7pm.
They also offer a variety of refreshing fruit drinks called agua fresco that is a must try on hot summer days to stay hydrated. The owner let me try mango strawberry.

This is a small family business, the owner is friendly and kind. We definitely will be back to try their other baked goods.

Absolutely delicious! They were so incredibly kind and very helpful when it came to explaining the different options. I without a doubt can say that their pastries are AMAZING! I wish we lived close by because this would definitely be a weekly must. The owner said everything is made in house and it shows because I wish I could have tried everything they had because the pastry I tried was perfect and delicious!

Fantastic pastries with great vegan options. The orejas and pina (sugar and pineapple) pastrys are their vegan options and they were fantastic! My fiance also tried their sprinkle, cream cheese guava, and strawberry and said they were great! Reasonably priced can’t wait to come back soon!

Everything from here is just magical! From the super fresh and rarely found Día de los Muertos (day of the dead) pastries, brioche donuts (caramel creme filled is my favorite), LOVE (strawberry shortcake or churro) Conchas paired with either a mango Agua frescas or a horchata is heavenly! The chamoy is house made. Always whimsically welcomed, whisked with beautiful smiles and delivers top tier customer service!
Can’t wait to come back again and try their tamales!

Fun fact: a reviewer here mentioned the donuts transported them to when they had malasadas in Hawaii. Someone who makes them was raised on the Island:)

My Latina friend has been wanting to try Cafecito for quite some time, she was in town recently and we went and were very pleased with everything we tried. The pan dulce was amazing and so was the churro latte cold brew. Looking forward to a return trip to try some of the other pastries. Thank you!
