Cafecito was such a cute and wonderful, tasty and fabulous experience! Right off our lovely Magnolia Ave in Fort Worth, Texas, great location with pretty patio. Loved all the pink! My sisters and I shared the pink breakfast tacos, we all got to pick what we wanted in each one. They were super fresh and tasty, housed in vibrant pink corn tortillas! We also shared the Chile Rellanos, omg YUM! So spicy and the dish was served beautifully. I enjoyed a tiny cortado and my sisters had Mexican lattes, everyone was in heaven! Highly recommend this place as soon as possible! Friendly reminder to get some pancakes for the table. All the ladies running the place were so kind and attentive, helpful and the food came out crazy fast! Love, love, love Cafecito!!! Pink Concha is a must! Enjoy!

Overall, the food was good and the pancakes were especially great, though I do feel like they skimped on the strawberries. The biggest disappointment was the size of the chile relleno — it was honestly the smallest chile poblano I’ve ever seen. Poblanos are usually fairly large, or at least bigger than the one we were served.
I was also underwhelmed by the salsa. Since it’s a Mexican restaurant, I expected a more authentic, homemade-style salsa for the chile relleno. Instead, it tasted more like the kind you’d get with chips and guacamole at a Tex-Mex restaurant. Considering the location is on Magnolia and the likely clientele to be here (white people), I can understand the choice — but it would have been better if the salsa felt more traditional and if the chile relleno had been closer to the size you typically find in stores, the actual relleno itself was good though! Just not the salsa.
On a positive note, the café de olla was delicious and not overly sweet (which I appreciated, since some places tend to overdo it). The latte I ordered was also really good. While I probably wouldn’t come back specifically for the food, I would return for a cafecito and to sit and chat.
For reference, the chile poblano in the photo was cut up and spread out before the picture was taken, which makes it look bigger than it actually was. In reality, it was about the size of a man’s palm. It was also supposed to be served with frijoles and rice which we did not receive.

Awesome spot for brunch. Was just looking up places in the DFW area and I was swayed by the cute design of this restaurant. Everything is pink even the tortillas. It’s not just cute though, the food is amazing. The mole was one of the best I’ve ever had and the chilaquiles Rosa was indeed spicy but delicious. Shout out to Tony who was very attentive.

Outdoor and indoor seating. Love the decor. Food was ready fast and sooo delicious! Migas, perfecto amount of spicy sauce. Pancakes with cajeta for my kid hit the spot. Coffee options were so tasty, cafe de olla with piloncillo, best ever! We were visiting from Dallas and can’t wait to come back.

Went here for brunch with a friend on Sunday and had an amazing experience! The patio is beautiful, full of greenery that makes the atmosphere super inviting. Service was incredibly fast, and every question or request we had was handled right away. The food is authentic and packed with flavor! There’s truly no shortage of it. Both salsas were delicious, and the red one had a nice little kick that elevated the breakfast tacos to another level.

Look no further for your next girls brunch destination! Adorable cafe and bar in this beautifully restored historic shop on magnolia is just good vibes all around. I’ve been here several times now and have enjoyed dining on the patio and inside and at the bar. Great service, fun atmosphere, delicious coffee and drinks and good solid food. I say girls brunch but my husband and son enjoyed it just as much. We recommend the brisket tacos, chilaquiles, strawberry pancakes, mole pollo, margaritas, palomas and save room for arroz con leche. Solid 2 thumbs up!

My first time here and I loved it!! I came with my brother and we are both big foodies! We are so picky when it comes to to Mexican food because no one cooks better than our mother& grandma but the food was delicious and Ariana (not sure how to spell her name) was amazing and the atmosphere was so friendly!!! This is, by far, the best and cutest spot I’ve been to in a while. The atmosphere is beautiful and calming. Everyone that works there is very friendly and welcoming. I forgot to get the name of the waitress that served us but she was fantastic as well.
The food was PHENOMENAL. We got the arroz con leche and nopalitos con huevo. When I tell you that this food can give you instant nostalgia, I mean it. The minute I smelled the arroz con leche, it took me back to my childhood.
To top it off, the coffee is unforgettable. I absolutely need one of these built closer to me although I truly will continue to make the hour drive until there is one! Keep up the good work guys! You care and it shows. Thank you for a great first experience

I really wanted to give this place a higher rating because the food was excellent and our waiter was kind, attentive, and professional. The kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing, everything we ordered was well prepared.
However, I have to give two stars because of the way we were treated by the hostess at the front. Unfortunately, the experience of being seated was uncomfortable and felt discriminatory. I was treated coldly and with a lack of basic courtesy, and it honestly made me feel unwelcome. It also appeared that other guests, who were white, were being treated more warmly and with more respect. I don’t want to assume intentions, but the difference in treatment was noticeable and disappointing.
If it weren’t for the hostess, I would absolutely come back, because the food and the waiter made the experience enjoyable once we were seated. But because of this, I feel I need to warn other customers that they may not receive the same treatment depending on who is greeting them at the door.
I sincerely hope the owner takes this feedback seriously. A restaurant’s first impression starts at the front desk, and no customer should ever feel disrespected or treated differently based on how they look. A conversation or retraining with the hostess would go a long way in protecting the restaurant’s reputation and making all guests feel welcome.

I ordered chorizo and cheese tacos with a bacon and cheese taco and they gave me two bacon and ham. I also ordered basic breakfast potatoes and they gave me something with onions and jalapeños, which I cannot eat.. They did give me the right order. We did not get our mimosas until after we were finished eating. My coffee should not have had any cinnamon on it and a cold foam in which it had cinnamon and no cold foam.. I wasn’t looking for my order to be comped, but they could’ve done something to make it better and they did not. I will not return..
