Our daughter has celiac, and the staff here were genuinely knowledgeable and attentive about her dietary needs – something that is incredibly rare to come across in Thailand. It meant the world to us as parents to be able to relax and enjoy a meal together without constant worry.
Now, the vibe of the place is… let’s say distinctive. Very Joe Exotic energy. But please, do not let that fool you for even a second, because the food is absolutely outstanding. Fresh, creative, full of flavor, and every dish has its own special twist that makes it memorable. This isn’t your standard tourist restaurant – the chef clearly puts real thought and passion into what comes out of that kitchen.
Highly recommend to anyone visiting Koh Samui, especially if you’re traveling gluten-free!
The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, clearly passionate about the menu. He took the time to walk us through recommendations and explain the dishes, which made the experience even better.
For starters we had the green curry chicken pie, tuna tartare, and duck red curry dumplings- all were exceptional, packed with flavour and beautifully presented. For mains, the stewed beef cheek with holy basil was tender and delicious, and the soft shell crab Pad Thai was fantastic. Every dish looked as good as it tasted.
The restaurant itself is cosy and quirky, with unique decor and presentation that really sets it apart. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. The owner also recommended the lamb shank massaman, which we’ll definitely be back to try next time.
Highly recommend booking during busier times, although we were lucky to walk straight in as a table for two. We’ll absolutely be coming back if we’re ever in Ko Samui again.
Vivian immediately came over to us and passionately recommended the best dishes on the menu. We followed his suggestions — and thank God we did. Every single dish was outstanding.
The food was delicious, fresh, made with unique local ingredients, and completely different from anything we usually eat. Each plate was a true experience for the palate — creative, surprising, and absolutely unforgettable.
This is definitely a place we will come back to again and again — and one we will never stop recommending.
Best Thai food restaurant ever!
The service was great. We were warmly greeted (I assume by the owner), who was absolutely lovely and managed to squeeze us in despite not having booked ahead. Place was popular.
The food was amazing. We started with tuna tartare, tom yum cones, and pomelo salad. Definitely try the pomelo salad, it was my favorite. The flavors were spot on, as was the presentation. For the main, we had the khao soi. Delicious!
Dessert was mango sticky rice brûlée. Good, though not the highlight. The coconut ice cream was topped with edible gold – a little extra, just like the venue, and the perfect finishing touch!
All in all, a wonderful experience. Can truly recommend.
From the moment owner-chef Vivian greeted us with his infectious energy, we knew we were in for something special; he personally recommended must-tries like the legendary green curry chicken pie (crispy roti stuffed with aromatic curry and mango), duck dumplings, and soft-shell crab rolls with mango chili sauce. Every dish arrived as Instagram-worthy art, bursting with bold Southern Thai flavors, generous portions, and creative twists like the crème brûlée mango sticky rice that had us scraping our plates clean.
The vibrant, quirky decor with colorful couches and lively street vibes added to the dynamic zen atmosphere, while the attentive staff kept our cocktails flowing without a hitch. Prices were a steal for this quality and it’s right near Fisherman’s Village for easy access. Book ahead; we can’t wait to return on our next Samui trip! 5/5 stars all the way.
