I’m really disappointed to be writing this review as Zupas has been one of my favorites for a while and I hate to be one to complain, but my experience yesterday was extremely disappointing. I went in yesterday for lunch with my dad and from the start placing our order was disorganized. We had to repeat our order 5 or 6 times to 3 different members of the staff who didn’t communicate with each other. After receiving my salad, there was barely any dressing mixed in. I went back to the counter and asked for an extra side of dressing and was told they would charge me. After explaining that my salad had barely any dressing mixed in, I was told that “they only do four *circles* of dressing” and they were still going to charge me 79 cents. So I walked away without the “extra” dressing. After eating my salad I opened up my sandwhich to find a singular slice of ham, turkey, and bacon with barely any sauce. I’ve had this sandwich numerous times and it’s never looked like this. I went back to the counter to speak to staff and explain the situation and told them that my sandwich was really lacking with only a singular slice of ham/turkey/bacon and was told by a staff member “that’s why you gotta come back for more”. I asked to speak with the manager who was extremely discourteous and couldn’t care less about the situation. He chuckled at me and said “there’s nothing I can do.”

I know lately prices are increasing everywhere as quality and quantity decrease, but the lack of customer service today was poor and disheartening. Being in customer service myself, I know how important it is to be solution oriented and an active listener for your customers/clients. My experience yesterday as a customer was unacceptable. And once again that pains me to say as someone who has always been a big fan of this chain. This location and Cafe Zupas need to do better otherwise they will continue to lose valued customers. And they can start with new, more professional management who aren’t lacking in customer service.

I just dined here and was completely taken aback by the amazing service! I wasn’t sure which soup I wanted when one employee, whose name is Ellie, heard me thinking out loud and she quickly jumped in to offer samples and share her favorites. Her warmth and dedication to customer service was truly astounding and made my already good experience here NEXT LEVEL. If you ever get a chance to dine here and chat with Ellie, do it! She is truly the sweetest and gave some hospitality you don’t see everyday!

I had an awesome experience at Zupas! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out super fast. Everything from the soups to the salads tasted high quality and perfectly made. The restaurant was also very clean and welcoming.

I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Cameron Hinz — he was incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure our order was perfect. You can really tell he cares about the customers and takes pride in his work. His positive attitude made the whole experience even better.

I’ll definitely be coming back soon — amazing food and even better service!

I placed my order at 12:06 pm on the app. I was told my order would be ready in 11 minutes! I arrived early at 12:10 and my order was not ready for more than 40 minutes. And due to the poor design of the drive-through, I was stuck between two cars and could not get out of line even if I wanted to.

I did not receive an apology from the employees, zero sympathy, and the resolution to this issue was 1500 bonus points!? That is absolutely embarrassing and shameful. That doesn’t come close to covering the cost of my meal or the time that I wasted.

I look forward to hearing back what you have to say.

I’ve come to really love Zupas. The first time I walked in, the clean and modern atmosphere immediately stood out to me. While looking at the menu, I was impressed by the variety of healthy and tasty options.
Since then I’ve brought a lot of friends who had never heard of Zupas before, and they always leave impressed—not just by the food, but by how fresh and flavorful everything is.
One of my favorite things to share with others is the Dubai chocolate cup. It’s the perfect sweet ending to a great meal.

Placed an order through the app (because we thought we learned our lesson that this Zuppas location takes very looong time to process the order). Ordered at 12:06PM, order should have been ready 12:20 PM, here we are 12:30 waiting for the order…. I’m going to guess that the Cafe Zuppas Owner will be responding to this with “I’m so sorry… blah, blah, blah…” but never really fixes it.

A great place for a healthy meal! Loved their soup!! Tried their lobster bisque and garden protein bowl and both were so good! The ambience was nice, they staff were kind and the line kept moving pretty fast thought it was rush hour. The salad greens were fresh and everything tasted great. Oh! And the Belgian Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry and the French Baguette Roll were good as well.

I really love the food here, but the online/take-out service is just downright awful. If you place an online order and get there at the scheduled time, you have to sit at the drive thru for roughly 5 minutes before an employee notices you and then proceeds to tell you that your order is not ready yet. You then get asked to pull aside and have to wait an additional 5-10 minutes while they clearly begin preparing your order that should’ve already been finished.

I’ve had the above experience with practically every online order placed here, whether its during lunch rush hour or not.

I’m not quite sure why they even have a drive-thru if no one is ever there to assist, but I would recommend avoiding this place if you value your time.

Service at the Wheeling, IL location for the drive through is awful. Couple weeks ago waited over 20 minutes for an order and not one associate came to the window. Had to drive around and go inside.

Tonight went again. Had a pickup time for 7:30, didn’t get our food until 7:55. Associate handed us presumably what was the van in front of us’ food which they there even longer than we were. As we left the van in front of us saw us get our food and went around to park and go in.

Told the staff this was a problem and they were pretty apathetic to me trying to explain to them we shouldn’t be waiting 20+ minutes in the drive through.

Food was cold when we got it home.
