This place was great! Food is delicious! I got the breakfast burrito and I loved it. My pop – pop got French toast with caramelized bananas, my sister got a bagel with cream cheese , my Grammy got blueberry pancakes, and my cousin got pancakes with strawberries. All of them were great! Very good I recommend this place.

Wow! A hidden gem! Great food and very attentive service! The bowls are wonderful and the pancakes were some of the best we’ve had anywhere! Will definitely come back for more.

For all y’all who think racism isn’t real, I just walked with my daughter to grab a bite to eat. We walked into this little restaurant attached to “The Villa Nova Resort Motel.” The hostess, who was from overseas, looked at me and said, “Can I help you?” I said, “Can I get a table for two?” She said, “Take whatever seat you want.” We sat down. An older white couple came in while the girl was getting our menus. She told them to take a seat wherever they wanted. The girl put our menus on our table, then walked up to the older white couple with her ticket book and started to take their order. My daughter and I walked out, and I will never go back.

5 ‘s for their great service and food. It’s a small place but a great environment, it makes you feel like home. And the food was incredible with big portions, just like momma would’ve served. I highly recommend the cafe and the hotel!

A sign in the window advertises iced lattes and it’s also listed on the menu. Wife ordered it with caramel and got a black iced coffee with caramel. When we told the server she asked “What’s the difference?” We told her lattes are a milk based beverage with espresso, she said “Oh, no. We don’t have” and shrugged it off when we pointed it out on their menu. We both had toast with our breakfasts and not only did they not butter it, but we had to ask for butter. When they brought it, it was ice cold and hard as a rock. And of course the toast had cooled by then. I’ve NEVER been to a diner were they didn’t butter the toast straight out of the toaster. Hash browns were definitely UNDER cooked. Wife said the ladie’s room door didn’t lock and there were no paper towels. The pot coffee was strong enough to eat the paint off a car and service was super slow. Putting this place on the “Not Going Back” List. Oh yeah…. another sign in the window says “ice cream”, but don’t waste your time looking for that either.

My mom and I grabbed breakfast to go and it totally hit the spot. We got two sandwiches, one bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant and one with pork roll, egg & cheese on a croissant. Both were super fresh and really tasty! The croissants were soft and buttery, and everything was cooked perfectly. You can tell they don’t cut corners. Quick service too, which was a nice bonus. Definitely a new go-to for a solid breakfast sandwich!

I’ve eaten at the Cafe Villa Nova multiple times over the years when I’m staying in Wildwood Crest. The menu has a lot of variety and I’ve never had a bad meal there because the food has always been delicious and very filling at a great price point.
Whenever we go there for breakfast we’re always fortunate to have Natalie as our server. She’s always pleasant, friendly and most importantly, she’s always hustling and attentive in serving her customers.
As for the atmosphere, the place is a bit outdated but that’s ok, because the food and waitress service is wonderful. All the condiments on the table are Walmart brand, which isn’t the best quality. They could do better if they used Heinz products and had better table napkins. Though I do believe it has changed owners or management several times in the last few years which may have led to the lower quality condiments etc.
Overall, I’d recommend Cafe Villa Nova if you’re staying in the Wildwoods. The great service and the delicious food make this place a hidden gem.
