I have mixed feelings about my recent visit to Cafe Via Flora. On the surface, this place has so much potential. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful—very aesthetic and relaxing—and the quality of the food itself was genuinely great. The flavors were on point, and the kitchen clearly knows what they are doing.
However, the experience was severely let down by the service and, more worryingly, the lack of basic hygiene.
The attention to cleanliness was shockingly poor. When I was served water, the glass was visibly dirty and even had a small crack in it, which is a safety hazard. We had to ask for it to be replaced immediately. To make matters worse, the cutlery provided had dried food remains stuck to it from a previous meal.
For a place that puts so much effort into its decor and food presentation, it is disappointing to see such negligence regarding sanitation. I really want to love this spot, but until they drastically improve their hygiene protocols and attention to detail, it’s hard to recommend it comfortably.

Omg wait so I needed to Update this review since this has never happened in my entire review process where a waiter runs after me while I’m going to the toilet asking me after spending $300, why I did not leave a tip for him? From my initial 3 star review I must say it’s now 2 stars

Café Flora in Palm Beach is a true gem that blends authentic Italian flavors with a chic, cozy atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm and special, like discovering a beloved trattoria tucked along Worth Avenue. Emmanuel attended to us with grace, professionalism, and genuine care, making us feel like valued guests rather than just diners. His attentive service elevated the entire meal and he offered thoughtful recommendations that enhanced the experience.

The lobster bisque was one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced with a subtle sweetness and pristine seafood flavor. The linguine with clams was equally satisfying: al dente pasta with fresh clams and a harmonious, coastal-inspired sauce that spoke to authentic Italian cooking. Both courses linger in memory as standout qualities of a well-executed menu.

The atmosphere is lovely—bright and cheerful yet intimate, with tasteful décor that’s chic without feeling pretentious. It’s in a lovely courtyard. It’s the ideal spot for a relaxed lunch, a romantic dinner, or a casual catch-up with friends. The setting, combined with the impeccable service, creates a dining experience that feels both refined and welcoming.

If you’re strolling Worth Avenue and exploring Palm Beach, Café Flora is a must-visit. It pairs perfectly with a day of shopping or waterfront strolls, offering an authentic Italian dining experience in a stylish, cozy environment. Emmanuel’s grace and professionalism are the icing on the cake. You’ll leave nourished and eager to return. Buon appetito!

Café Via Flora is a very cozy and inviting place. All of the seating is outdoors, which makes it perfect for a relaxed dinner with that charming Palm Beach island touch.

The menu offers a variety of well-curated options, each thoughtfully prepared with a light Italian flair.

Vanessa and David provide excellent service — they are attentive, warm, and truly pay attention to every detail, making the experience even more special.

We visited Cafe Via Flora on Worth Avenue yesterday and unfortunately had a very poor experience.

Our server, an older gentleman, was rude and unfriendly from the beginning. When the food arrived, both pasta dishes were cold and undercooked. One of them was extremely undercooked to the point that it was almost impossible to eat — the texture was hard and felt like plastic.

When we politely mentioned this, the server dismissed our concern and said that it was “authentic.” There was no effort to fix the issue or replace the dishes. We ended up not eating the food but still paying for it, which was very frustrating.

For a restaurant in such a well-known location like Worth Avenue, we expected much better service and quality. Very disappointing experience and not recommended.

We had dinner here during our stay in Florida as every year. Unfortunately, the welcome from the owner felt a bit cold, which set an awkward tone for the evening. The food was fine but fairly average and didn’t quite live up to our expectations. With warmer hospitality and a bit more attention to the menu, this place could be much better as it used to be. We were put in the back garden. (Group of 14 people)

Fantastic Italian getaway in a courtyard surround by bougainvillea, mature trees and traditional Mediterranean architecture. Food was prepared perfectly and the wait staff was amazing. One of our new favorites! Originally had dinner, then went back two days later for lunch. Slightly different menu, but great experience had by all!

The wine was fresh, burrata salad was on point and lastly my rigatoni bolognese was delicious! We sat inside to avoid the summer heat, and the little inside area was so cozy!

This quaint gem is hidden behind the structures on Worth! My oh my! Now, the soups are the right hot temperature, the salads are fresh, uncomplicated, did I say fresh? Yes! and just tantalizing! Same with the seafood.

I cannot remember what the hostess’ name was but she was alone and attending to everyone in a timely manner. So polite!

A favourite! Moderately priced food for so much more. A romantic lunch date?, just searching for a spot for refreshing food? If you’re craving authentic Italian food, THIS IS IT!!!
