This place had a relaxing vibe to it. The menu had quite the variety of various ethnic options: Korean Bowl, Indian Curry, Ahi Tuna salad, etc. I ordered the Ahi Tuna salad – the tuna was fresh on top of a bowl of fresh baby spinach. It was topped also with snow peas, cucumbers, red cabbage, quinoa, pickled ginger, and avocado. The dressing was a sweet sesame soy served on the side. It was a good sized serving and definitely filled me up. The service was attentive and friendly.

Very nice atmosphere and great service. The bibimbap was delicious (I had it with shrimp and highly recommend it). Small seating sections both indoor and on the patio. The outdoor seating had live music playing when we went. I believe this will be one of our stops every time we are in New Smyrna!

Todays lunch stop: cafe verde. What’s on the menu? Side salad, plantain bowl, chicken bowl – loaded with beans, pico, guacamole, and rice. We got our food Togo, I had the side salad in the car and it was so delicious. I loved the flavor of the dressing and the chunky cheese. YUM and the plantains were delicious in the bowl!

Food was delicious, plentiful and as ordered. Service was quick and friendly. Would definitely go again. Had the bowl without meat and guest had the lamb gyro. Both were great with the exception of big huck of fat in lamb but taste overall was so good.

Just finished eating here and boy am I glad I decided to stop here with my bf on our way back home to Jax. Our server was spectacular and I’m so sorry I forgot her name already but she’s a small woman with short hair. The bowl with plantain was sooo good I think that was my favorite. The banana empanada definitely did steal the show at the end though! All the sauces were delicious too, my boyfriend and I couldn’t taste everything fast enough lol. If you go just please try the plantains I cannot emphasize how good they were.

Moved to the area 3 months ago, finally had a chance to stop in here. The food was delicious. Most of the tables are outside, but we ate at the small bar. Restaurant is behind Clancy’s, so it is a bit removed from the Flagler Ave noise. Seared sesame tuna was fantastic.
